Amiamo la cucina casalinga e tradizionale della nostra Sicilia. Siamo un ristorante di cucina marinara tipica siciliana. Acquistiamo per voi prodotti di altissima qualità come farebbe una mamma per la sua famiglia. Km 0, biologico e Slowfood sono le maggiori caratteristiche dei nostri ingredienti. Osserviamo la stagionalità dei prodotti, soprattutto per il mare. Sosteniamo la pesca etica e prediligiamo pesce povero e fresco! La nostra carta dei vini è tutta sicula. In media, per un pasto completo si spendono circa €60 a persona.

We were in Syracuse for 1.5 days and we went here twice. Every single dish we got was a piece of culinary art.
The dish of grilled fish was a great choice for two people to try different kinds of seafood. The fish were so fresh they melted in my mouth.
The tuna tartar was very delicate and an absolute blast.
The sardine and orange and fennel salad? I can’t stop thinking about it.
I’ve had cannoli all over sicily and none of them beat the one I had here: light, soft, the right amount of sweetness.
The cherry on top is that they’re also pro-Palestine and they have it written all over the restaurant.

We visited Sicilian Intavola twice and both times were unforgettable. The owner is incredibly present, warm, and makes the whole dining experience feel special. The food is nothing short of spectacular, fresh, authentic, and bursting with flavor. My partner said it was one of her top three meals ever which says it all. Truly a gem that we’ll keep coming back to!

Absolutely lovely. We had the gnocchi and the spaghetti with seafood and they were both delicious. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable about local wines and other delicacies and we just had the best time.

Had what I think was mackerel (blue fish). It was the special. I enjoyed it but a little rare for some. I has a glass of Marsala at the end, parter a glass (calice) and I a beer for the actual meal . The people were very friendly. The menu was mostly local. I would recommend it, perhaps a touch expensive for what we had.

Got to know this restaurant from a random local stranger when the restaurant we wanted to go to was not opened… we are so impressed but the tastes of the food and how fresh and authentic the raw seafood platter was. Tiramisu was great and we can for sure recommend this!

Tucked into one of Ortigia’s narrow stone streets, Ristorante Sicilia in Tavola serves exactly what the name promises—Sicily, on a plate.

We came here for dinner and were immediately greeted with that kind of warm, no-frills welcome that makes you feel like you’re about to eat something special. And we were right.

I started with the tartara di pesce, which was hands-down one of the freshest, most delicate tartares I’ve had in Sicily. Local seasonal fish, expertly hand-cut and served with caramelised red onions and a silky tomato emulsion that somehow made every bite better than the last. It was clean, bright, and deeply flavorful.

For the main, I had the spaghetti V.G.P.—a love letter to Sicilian seafood. Veraci clams and local pink shrimp, gently kissed with white wine and just a touch of datterino tomatoes, then finished with pistachio granella for texture and that signature island twist. A dish that’s rich without being heavy, and elegant without trying too hard.

The atmosphere is relaxed and intimate, with just enough buzz to keep it lively. Tables are close. Service was kind and helpful—especially if you ask about the daily specials or local wine pairings. The team clearly knows what they’re doing and cares deeply about showcasing the island’s best ingredients.

Will definitely return without a doubt. This place captures the heart of Sicilian cuisine without overcomplicating it. It’s honest, soulful cooking that makes you want to come back the next night.
