While planning my destination wedding down in Rehoboth Beach Delaware I needed to find a place to have a luncheon at. I came across Victoria’s and was immediately struck by the aviance and the seaside position watching the ocean roll in while experienceing the Victorian decor. From start to finish making reservations changing them several times adding a few people subtracting everything couldn’t have gone more perfect !! The staff at Victoria’s along with the kitchen and the hospitality everything was so perfect The food is excellent The service is on point and the cocktails are fabulous if you’re going down to Rehoboth Beach check out Victoria’s by the sea.

I was impressed with every aspect of this dining experience. We came here for Thanksgiving. This charming restaurant was already decorated beautifully for the Christmas holidays with poinsettias galore. We were seated near a fireplace which also added a nice touch to the holiday spirit. I loved the Thanksgiving menu, particularly that there was a nice prime rib or a stuffed shrimp option in addition to the traditional turkey. I also thought that serving the sides as family style was brilliant, giving everyone a choice on the amount and individual sides that they wanted. Oh, and the food was splendid. The turkey was moist, and all of the sides of stuffing and sweet potatoes were fresh and delicious. The service was super friendly and attentive. I absolutely adored this place, and it helped to make this Thanksgiving very memorable.

Absolutely stellar experience! Exceeded my expectations. I had afternoon tea here and from the moment I entered the Boardwalk Plaza Hotel, I was transported back in time to Victorian England. From the Tiffany lamps to the gramophone to the Victorian furniture and accouterments, the 4 large bird cages complete with colorful parrots and a view of the ocean, I was blown away!

The tea included a choice of tea for each person from a selection of 7 teas, 4 sandwiches apiece; 2 chicken salad, a smoked salmon and cucumber and an egg salad on the bottom level. A blueberry scone, raspberry tea biscuit,, marzipan macaroon, cream puff and èclair and chocolate truffle on the middle level; sugared grapes, chocolate covered strawberries and edible flowers on the top level. I was quite full at the end.

We were met at the door, no waiting to be seated. Our waitress had our reservation in hand and our table was ready. The waitress was friendly, attenive and efficient. Couldn’t have imagined a better experience!

I enjoyed a very nice dinner at Victoria’s. My server Lisa was very friendly and helpful. I told her my food allergies and she took them into account. She gave a suggestion on trying oysters with hot sauce, which I did. The food was amazing and the wait time for it wasn’t long. I did go around 4:30. My appetizers come out 1 by 1 so I didn’t have too much in the table at once. I enjoyed sitting outside and having my meal. They take walking ins until about 5 after that you have to have a reservation. I highly recommend this restaurant. I will be back again.

We stopped into Victoria’s during our visit to Rehoboth Beach and were pleasantly surprised by how wonderful the staff and food were. After looking online we expected the decor to feel a bit Grand Ma ish but in person it had an inviting nostalgic charm it felt like being taken back to a simpler time and we enjoyed looking around at all the interesting objects and artifacts while waiting for our meal. The food was delicious and the service made the experience even better. After dinner the bar area was the perfect place to relax with desert espresso martini. We got to say goodbye to the birds on our way out a unique and memorable touch. Overall Victoria’s is a great place to die and we’re really glad we stopped in.

Victoria’s has historically been one of the best restaurants in the Rehoboth area and always has great holiday decor. We had not been in a few months but decided to make reservations for our family on Christmas.

It was a prix fixe menu at $60 per person, which is acceptable for holiday fine dining. Unfortunately, our experience was far from that. For example:

1) Food Quality: All 4-5 prime rib entrees were significantly undercooked. We sent back one ordered “medium well,” but it was returned still red throughout. The salmon was very dry and lacked flavor.

2) Service: Our server forgot silverware, and when it was finally brought, they simply dumped a pile on the table for us to sort out ourselves. Sides were served family-style, but the server never offered to refill them despite them being low for most of the meal.

3) Dessert: The options were banana pudding or a cupcake; the cupcake was tiny and extremely dry.

This experience was likely a result of holiday understaffing, but if a restaurant charges fine-dining prices, it must provide a fine-dining experience. The quality of food and service was unfortunately lower than many $15–20 chains. We won’t be back and recommend others avoid them on holidays.

Victoria’s is now our place to go for celebrating special occasions or to impress our friends with an exceptional evening all around! My wife and I sat in the bar area for an hour before dinner. What a cozy, comfortable setting! Small and intimate with a touch of old and new. We had a blast chatting with various guests and visitors to the hotel. Our bartender, Steve, was super and fun to engage with. We had dinner in the dining area which is a lovely place with several levels having a feel from the early 1900’s. Adrianne was our waitress and she was great. We had an excellent Tuscana Red that was priced at less than 2X the going price. Most restaurants do 3X so that was a nice surprise. We split the wedge salad that was perfectly prepared for us on separate plates. I then had the saffron rockfish while my wife had the short ribs. Both were delicious and piping hot. We shared the toffee bread pudding ring with ice cream along with a couple de-caf cappuccinos. So good! I’ll add that the waiter and all the staff were wonderful. I highly recommend Victoria’s for your special time with a loved one or friends!
