I’ve only had their pork roll, egg and cheese. It’s one of THE best I’ve had. Coffee was also good. Staff was friendly and service was prompt. Prices are reasonable.
Atmosphere is that of an old school train diner. It’s a little small but not too small. Plenty of of seating at booths and the counter.
Definetly stop in if you are in the area and craving a delicious pork roll, egg and cheese!

Manville Diner definitely hit the old school NJ Diner feeling. Excellent food, portions, service and prices. Will definitely be back.

I’ve been coming here for quite some time now. Probably 26 times plus take out. The food here is consistently very good. Their breakfast is always spot on. They make wonderful Soups, Omelettes , Eggs, Blueberry Pancakes, Grits, Corned Beef Hash, Pork Roll/ Taylor Ham, Egg and Cheese on a Hard Roll and more. They make a really good Greek Salad and I top it with Grilled Chicken, and their Turkey Club on Whole Wheat Bread is wonderful. If you love Cheeseburgers they’re really good. If your super hungry get the 1/2 lb Cheeseburger it’s huge. Their French fries are always golden brown and hot. Their portions are large. I never make it to dessert.
The staff is always very friendly and accommodating. The coffee is always fresh and hot. They have Specials everyday.
This is a small diner right in the center of town. Behind it is a small parking lot. Most people park on the street. It never seems to be a problem. I would definitely recommend coming here. This is my go to diner.

Definitely in the top 3 diners in NJ. Everything on the menu is prepared perfectly. Waiting for them to open need a great breakfast. Prices are great too. Double California burger is the bomb. Everything is the bomb. Rice pudding made by hand and is the best in jersey.

First time I went there I expected a proper American breakfast being served and a staff that can speak proper English at least. The waiter named Rafael couldn’t speak proper English and on top of that he was vulgar and rude. The breakfast was served with some home fries that tasted like rubber.
I highly don’t recommend this “diner” to anyone. A traditional diner is supposed to be served American food not some ethic and foreign food..
There are other better and traditional American diners out there.

Manville Diner is an old school diner where you can always catch up on your local current events. Food is good, is a large portion, and priced right! At peak times there can be a small wait, but well worth it.

Bring an extra pair of socks to the Manville diner, because your socks will be knocked off! When we arrived we were told to sit anywhere we liked, I chose the last available booth next to the window. Our waitress came quickly and we shared a name, immediately I felt a sense of kinship. I ordered cranberry juice and a breakfast burrito with hash browns and the guy sitting in the booth with me ordered coffee, chocolate chip pancakes, toast (rye and dry), eggs and bacon with a side of hash browns. They had a tv in the corner of the diner so I was able to keep an eye on the Iran situation while enjoying my meal. On the wall above us hung a portrait of the old diner that sat on the site, as well as the asbestos factory. This got personal/emotional for me because my grandma is from Manville and many of her relatives worked there and later died from asbestos-related diseases. Price wise, it could’ve been more affordable. My final tab was $42.94 and this was for two people. But to be fair the guy I came with ordered a lot. The diner looks new from the outside but old in the inside, when I called to ask about the history of the diner they hung up on me. All in all, my food was alright and the service was good.

Worst service ever, except for the food. We were two people who ordered four breakfasts. We ordered the Florentine Benedict, the Pizza Omlette, the Nutella French Toast, and a Breakfast Burrito to go. We also ordered two orange juices. The orange juices came and they were average, no ice.
The Florentine Benedict came with homefries and toast (and grape jelly). The toast and the homefries were perfect. The Hollandaise Sauce and the spinach on the Florentine Benedict were just okay if that, but the eggs were good.
The Pizza Omlette was okay. It also came with the toast and the homefries, also perfect.
The Nutella French toast was good.
Now, comes the fun part: We go up to the register. We compliment the chef on his cooking. After he (the server/order taker) adds up the price for our food, he tells us that it’s $52. Okay. I have $50 in my hand. I turn around because I want to quietly discuss with my fiancé that we’re $2 short and that I have to run to the car to get the rest. So, I go and do that. I come back give the man the $50 in cash plus 80 cents and TRY to give him my debit card for the $1.20 that was left. He refused to take my card and literally laughed in our faces as he waved us off and walked away.
We are terribly disappointed, but will NEVER allow that to happen again. How disrespectful! He never even came over and asked if we were okay or if the food turned out okay or if we wanted anything else.
Needless to say, we are NEVER coming back!
Update (Dec. 2, 2025(1:11pm)): We went back. Haha! We left the $1.20 in change literally on the cash register. But only after he saw us and didn’t say a word other than excuse me. Then he turned his back on us again. I got all the way to the entrance and turned around, when my fiancé made sure to get the man’s attention and show him that the change due was on the cash register. He laughed, his head bent backwards at least twice and he laughed, with mouth wide open..
God bless, dear man, God bless. And God speed!

Really small and cozy “Diner” pleasant waitress – the food was OK – not seasoned.
Some salt and pepper and I was good to go.
The coffee was a 4 on a scale from 1 to 10 and the food 6.
The blueberry pancakes was not too tasty or savory.
I like Diners – something about that home cook feeling.
I’m on the fence on this place not sure if I’ll be back or not.
