The portion size is great, you could possibly share a dish. We got the one with pink sauce. The sauce was too watery. The garlic knots we got were a little over cooked not soft. We found a noodle in our dish. A little over priced for the taste. But the quantity makes up for it.

This is a cute spot! Good italian food in a kind of themed-ish restaurant. The meatballs were REALLY GOOD and they had complimentary garlic knots! Had a good time with friends.

Price was kinda expensive and beware the charge a 3.5% for card use. Garlic knotts were amazing with so much garlic and oil could really use a dip. caprese salad does not need that bed of lettuce and sweet peppers and could have used more vingar ON the tomato and cheese. Meatballs had no flavor but the spaghetti and marinara sauce was delicious!!! Tiramisu needed 2 layesr of the lady fingers as there was too much whip cream with 1 layer but flavor was great.

Not sure why we gave this place another chance other than my partner seems to like their pizza occasionally and my kid will pick this place because she is almost guaranteed to get ice cream from the shop next door ( Two Roosters). It is a hit or miss when it comes to food here at Vic’s. Tonight I ordered spaghetti marinara and my pasta was literally DROWNING in marinara sauce. I had to try to find the noodles after the first couple of bites of pasta. I wish I was joking. If you are looking for a scavenger hunt then this is your place… order the over priced spaghetti marinara (18 for a small handful of pasta hidden underneath a mountain of marinara). Their marinara is good though so I will give them that…. Just wish they would have a better ratio of sauce to pasta. Their garlics knots are a hit or miss… most of the time they have so much oil on them you can ring them out and have a puddle of grease on your plate… sometimes they get it right and they are decent. Their white pizza sounds amazing but don’t be deceived because it really isn’t that good. Barely cooked onions are thrown on top of a pizza with slices of almost raw tomatoes. The other pizza we’ve tried was the meat pizza which was flavorless and just meh.

My husband and I had 2 of Vic’s daily specials for dinner tonight, seafood linguine and pistachio pesto pasta with Italian sausage. Excellent, including the only garlic knots I’ve ever liked! Fantastic acoustic piano playing (no vocals) that didn’t drown out conversation. Great service, too! Informed and charming waiter. Half priced bottles of wine on Wednesdays. We’ll be back. So glad to see Vic’s in the midtown Lake Boone burbs near us!

Really friendly staff! Loved the calamaris! Fresh and perfectly cooked. Enjoyed the pasta as well, little too spicy and not very unique. But nothing bad as well. The outdoor sitting is very cozy!

The pasta dishes had watery sauce with dried up cheese stuck to the bottom of the plates. Nearly zero flavor to the dishes. The meatballs were gray. Marinara sauce was water and tomatoes – no flavor. Prices are too high for such poor quality food. Unfortunately, this was the most disappointing Italian meal that we’ve ever experienced. Highly recommend that you find another option in the area.

Very authentic and on point Italian cuisine. Professional and timely staff. Daniel was informative and a joy to have as our server. Definitely worth our trip from CLT. Kudos to this establishment.

Food was average… felt a bit pricey to me, but maybe I’ve not caught up with inflation yet. It was an easy 3 stars for the money, but the service pulled it up to 4 – server was very friendly and helpful.
