I had to install some new equipment at one of our customers sites here in Albuquerque and although a friend recommended one place, the locals at the customer site suggested Vic’s. So I went with the locals. The food was perfect, freshly made, plentiful portions. I was stuffed but was thinking about dessert. My server Brenda brought me a small bowl with a sample of Green Chile Chicken Stew. It was awesome as well. I figured I had better stop there. Dessert options sounded good but they were out of the one I really would have suffered for, banana cream pie. Next trip perhaps.

This is a hidden gem! It’s in an office park and I almost drove right by but so glad I went in! Was meeting a friend here for breakfast and it was busy and they were serving customers quickly and efficiently. Our server got our drinks out and took our order. I got the French toast breakfast and it came with 2 pieces of french toast and 4 pieces of thick cut bacon that tasted delicious! My eggs came out just as ordered and our waiter kept our glasses full. We did not feel rushed and I was happy to see so many tables full. Our server also offered to-go drinks as we were paying which was nice as I was going to be driving a while. I took half of my plate in a box and my friend enjoyed her omelet with hash browns and biscuits. She took half hers home too! Nice portions for the price.

Awesome food, the chicken fried steak is big enough for two people! Ask about the serving sizes before committing! Service was great, even though the place was crowded. Expect about a 45 minute wait on Sundays. Well worth the wait.

Tried it for the first time. Waited 30 min to be seated. Patio was perfect not too hot. Service was quick, efficient, and friendly. Food was hot when it reached us in the patio. Drinks kept full by our waitress. Chicken fried steak was delicious! The gyro was my favorite! Well portioned out for the price. Definitely coming back and our new favorite go too restaurant!

It can get busy here, but they are efficient and keep everything moving. Servings here are huge. Bring an appetite. Food was hot and good. Servers were on top of everything and friendly. Would recommend if you want breakfast.

Great restaurant, wait was about 45-55 min, but we planned ahead. Leave your phone number up front, and wait in the car worked great! I was told to try the chicken fried steak, as it was supposedly great. But it ended up being pretty normal, typical frozen cube steak. I expect a bit more as I’m from Texas. Needs to be fresh, and tenderized on the spot. French toast was good, as was the strudel that we are as appetizer.

I can’t stop recommending Vic’s to every person I know! I have been going there for years. The staff is amazing and courteous. You may have to wait? Believe me, it’s worth the wait. I have eaten plenty of dishes from the menu to say I have yet to be disappointed. “The Vaquero” is my go to! The Chicken Fried Steak gives me Mule Barn vibes. It covers the plate of hashbrowns and is smothered with red chile and cheese! I recommend the two eggs, over easy and on top. So you when cut into the yolk, it mixes with the chile and makes the greatest sauce to sop up with their delicious biscuits. The right amount of spice to enjoy, not overwhelm. Any dessert that they have on display that day is a must. If you have room for dessert? But a to go dessert for later? Uh, Yeah!!!!

I really enjoy coming to this place, the food and service is always so good and friendly. I think the only thing I would change is the wait before your seated and more parking. I ordered the “BigDaddy” chicken fried steak plate came with veggies, Texas toast, and your choice of potato. Yumm
