Delicious!!!!
Just finished the second round of the Egusi soup combo.
Even better the next day. Has two whole meals.
Ms. Vicky was wonderful, courteous and friendly!
Ms. Vicky is very generous with her portions and every bite is flavorful, savory and mouth watering.
Shall definitely order again when I go back to LA.
Truly makes the two hour drive worth it!
Thank you Ms. Vicky

Vicky’s Bubbly Cafe was amazing! Vicky was so kind and her food is absolutely delicious. We ordered the pounded yam and egusi to go and she went above and beyond to make it vegetarian and allergy-friendly for us.

This was our first time having Nigerian food so she even told us the proper way to eat it and reheat it. The portion sizes are very generous. My new comfort food!

I would recommend to order early as the food is made to order and she can get busy!

Loveee Vicky’s cafe! As a Ghanaian who misses flavors from home, Vicky’s delivers! I first tried the jollof combo and ewedu soup a couple weeks ago and loved it so much I ordered catering for thanksgiving. I ordered a half pan of jollof, which was $40. The amount of jollof in that pan was generous and my friends LOVED the jollof. I also added in an order of egushi which Vicky graciously accommodated last minute. Delicious as well. Run, don’t walk to Vicky’s!

The food is FANTASTIC and Vicky is so sweet. I got the egusi soup with goat and fufu, and the jollof rice with African chicken and greens. Call or place an order well ahead of time because she makes everything to order and you want to give her enough time to make it properly. The best Nigerian food I’ve had in LA so far. Highly recommend!

I don’t usually write reviews, but the food at Vicky’s Bubbly Cafe was amazing! The jollof, fish, and plantains were all cooked with so much heart — you can taste amazing flavor and love in every bite. The portions were huge too, I even had enough to save for the next day and it was just as good. Thank you for such a beautiful, soulful meal❤️

I’m sorry this took so long but I’m still snacking on what I ordered from here. This woman cooked Rotini Pasta with Shrimp Scampi and Sauté Southwest mixed Vegetables for me by herself and honestly I wasn’t expecting to get as much as I did. The shrimp pasta was 40 and the veggies were 5. The pasta could easily feed a family of 4-5 and it is absolutely delicious I added some Alfredo sauce to it but that’s cause I’m a cheese head. I would’ve eaten it without the sauce too because it was so good! SHRIMP IS CLEAN no tails or fish feces! I will definitely be coming back

Food was immaculate, got chicken, sauteed greens & jollof. huge portion for 25 bucks the drumsticks were massive. plate lasts u 2 meals and vicky is so nice & has a beautiful smile. make sure to zelle or cashapp her for pickup/takeout orders. last time i had amazing jollof was in new york and this is definitely the best ive tried in la so far. chicken was tender & flavorful, the jollof was fluffy & smoky & spicy but not burn a hole in your stomach spicy. the greens were garlicky which i love. gave me the itis and i passed out for 5 hours after eating. everything was piping hot & nothing was lackluster.

Vicky’s Bubbly Café na real deal! From the moment we walked in, Mrs. Arinze gave us that warm Naija welcome — pure vibes and hospitality! The food? Omo! The efo soup and pounded yam were on another level — rich, flavorful, and made with love like back home. You can taste the authenticity in every bite.

Generous portions, spotless place, and top-notch service — you can tell they cook with passion and heart. If you’re craving proper Nigerian food in LA, this is the spot. No stress, no wahala — just good food and good people. Big ups to Mrs. Arinze and the whole crew!

Lady Vicky’s cooking reminds me that no matter where I am in the world I am always connected to home. Her restaurant must be considered one of the best places I’ve eaten in Los Angeles since I moved here four years ago.

For my first order, I placed a catering request with the goal of meal prepping for the coming weeks. I ordered egusi soup, jollof rice, stewed goat meat, and regular stew with beef and hen. Not only was the quantity generous, but every dish was clearly made with care and intention.

The egusi soup had a great consistency and was bursting with layered flavors—especially when topped with some stew OMG. From the first bite to the last, every bite tasted like home The jollof rice struck the perfect balance: smoky, aromatic, and spiced. And the stew— the regular stew—was a standout. Bold, slightly sweet, and deeply savory, it was the kind of flavor you find yourself having to resist yourself from just licking it.

What impressed me most beyond the food was the level of service Lady V brings to her kitchen. The service and communication were also excellent—professional, warm, and timely.

If you’re searching for truly authentic Nigerian food made with skill and heart, look no further. Vicky’s Bubbly Cafe is a gift to the LA food scene.
