My intent for Father’s Day was to start it off with a good Cuban sandwich. Unfortunately, what Vicky’s prepared was probably the worst Cuban sandwich, or sandwich of any kind for that matter, that I have ever seen. Slivers of cold pork, right out the fridge, a meager amount of ham and swiss cheese; the bread wasn’t even toasted properly. The saddest part is that my son also bought another two “croqueta preparada” sandwiches that were just as bad. If a Cuban diner can’t prepare a decent Cuban sandwich, why would I even try anything else on the menu? Fool me once…

We were very excited when we found out that we had a Viki bakery in Homestead. The treatment they gave us was professional and very pleasant, however the cake that even they recommended us to do in a way that would be more beautiful was a complete disaster, in my life I never buy anything in that place again.

The best bakery in homestead Fl. You can tell the deserts are top quality and the pastelitos are baked fresh daily. The cafe con leche was amazing. I had been waiting for Vicky to open here in homestead. I got the catering menu to order for my next family party! The service was so quick and the ladies in the front were so friendly! This bakery is relatively new, as such is very nice, chic like setting. It has regular parking spaces that’ll fit regular cars. The selections are vast, comparable to Pines Bakery minus all the waiting headaches. Already tried many different pastalitos, all good. Will definitely revisit to try out all their selections.
