This place is such a hidden gem in Albuquerque. First and foremost, Lula shines. Her energy and welcoming spirit make you instantly feel at home from the time she greeted us at the door to the time we left. She really is wonderful. The atmosphere is so surprisingly cozy and welcoming as well. The food was so good, too. The cowboy burritos were the size of my head. Definitely recommend.

This little restaurant made my day. Homey atmosphere inside and the staff was very attentive and friendly. It was just the place to go if you are traveling and wanting a comfortable place to enjoy a great breakfast. The cherry turnover was fantastic as a treat after the meal too.

We discovered Vick’s by chance, and it was absolutely wonderful. The food was all fresh prepared, and hot when it came to the table and did not take any time after we ordered. The menu is pretty big with a wide variety of breakfast, lunch, and entrees. The portion sizes were crazy, more than enough to fill you up and the prices were real reasonable when you look at what you’re getting.
The staff were all friendly and attentive, quick to top off or ask if there was anything else they could bring.
Been back to Albuquerque again last week and had to make sure we stopped in for lunch again.

Hadn’t been here since before COVID. I really enjoyed Saturday dinner with the live music they had. I went in for breakfast and had The Rattlesnake with red chile. It was delicious. My waitress was awesome. Wish they were still open for dinner.

I went yesterday for the first time for breakfast. I was really impressed with the food. I ordered the breakfast carnitas and everything on my plate was really good! So much flavor and the $ were well worth the amount of food I received.
I had the best service there that I have had anywhere in a long time! My servers name was Yanaie. She was wonderful and took really good care of us! She definitely had the right personality to be working with the public! Overall..a wonderful experience!

We love coming here- usually. Today was an exception. Our queso came out and it was very cold. My husband is allergic to green chili so we asked for only red on his “Lone Star” came with green buried under the red. Our grandson had cold macaroni and cheese. We had no service and they werent very busy. We had no refills on drinks. We Not sure WHAT was going on but it was definitely NOT their day. We will be back as normally it’s a lot better outcome.

This place will be placed easily in the ranking of the top 5 best brunch places in Albuquerque! They were excellent with both food and service every time we went there. My personal favorite is their carnitas and cinnamon rolls.
They have large parking lots and seating. We never waited there for more than 15 minutes to be seated even during weekends. Which is very exceptional for a place like that in ABQ.

I went to get a breakfast burrito since I saw the reviews were good. The burrito had a strange fishy/shrimpy taste to it all throughout that kinda threw me off. Maybe it was just the one I got. Would have liked more chile in it as well. Service was really nice though and the interior has sort of a cowboy theme to it.

This is a popular place on the weekend! Waited quite a bit but the food was worth it 🙂 very fulfilling and generous portions. I ordered “The Shotgun” and I really liked the country spuds opposed to the hash browns. Update: went back for the broasted pork chop with eggs and the pigs in a blanket pancakes! Delicious once again 🙂
