We arrived around 4 PM and were immediately seated. We ordered lamb tikka masala, paneer tikka masala, samosas, jeera rice, sweet lassi, salt lassi, and roti/naan bread. Everything tasted fantastic! The tikka masala was full of flavor, it was creamy, tangy, and absolutely delicious. The lamb was soft and tender. One thing that surprised me was the sweet lassi, it wasn’t overly sweet like most lassis, which I really enjoyed! The samosas came out fresh, hot, and super crispy. Everyone here was exceptionally nice and very accommodating. Overall, I really enjoyed the food and would definitely come back!

Absolutely delicious! The butter chicken and gobi manchurian were bursting with flavor, and the garlic naan was perfectly soft with just the right amount of garlic. This is exactly the kind of quality I expect from great Indian cuisine.
That being said, it’s overpriced for the portions offered. We finished everything in one sitting, there was barely any rice, chicken, or gobi manchurian, but plenty of sauce… When I opened the container, I had to search through a sea of sauce just to find the small portion of chicken hidden inside. The only reason this is a 5-star review is because the quality truly didn’t disappoint. For $40+, I really wish the portions were more generous. At that price point, I might as well just make it myself at home.

Went out looking for a good halal Indian restaurant and this did not disappoint. The samosas were lovely, a nice change from the disappointment we usually face. The kabab platter was nice, but it gave a funny aftertaste. Also, it would be nice to be given proper glasses.

We really enjoyed Viceroy Indian Cuisine! It’s a great new addition to the downtown Naperville food scene, located right next to Quigley’s. Highlights for us were the tandoori kabab platter (which came out sizzling!), the paneer pakora, and the Kashmiri naan. The Goan fish curry and malai kofta were also yummy and not too spicy. Desserts were on point too, I recommend the gulab jamun. They’re great about customizing spice levels, and the service was fantastic. Really friendly staff who took the time to explain the dishes and answer any questions. Prices were reasonable as well. The only thing missing was the ambiance, but they’re still new so I’m sure they’re working on it. Can’t wait to go back and try more from the menu!

Just. So. Good. Echoing the praises for their food. From the rich butter chicken to balanced spicy vindaloo to everything in the bread basket, each takeout we have had was consistently just so delicious. Full of flavor, smooth textures and great portions. Look forward to dining in one day!

Definitely the best Indian restaurant in the area! The staff is very nice and very accommodating for different spice tolerances. The chicken tikka masala was so creamy and delicious, and went perfectly with the garlic butter naan. They also have the best samosas I’ve ever eaten! Flaky and perfectly spiced. 10/10 would recommend coming here and will be coming back again!

After reading lot of positive reviews ordered the food for delivery. Paneer Makhani, naan & Paneer fried rice. Paneer Makhani felt like a soup with bunch of paneer pieces floating around. There is no such thing as gravy, it’s all watery. When it is all watery watery what can you expect for taste and flavor, None. Coming to Naan never seen that thick of a naan. Only saving grace is Fried rice which felt ok.
My advice to management is – just do some basic quality checks before you pack the food and send it across.

Growing up in the UK I was exposed to some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had. This unfortunately doesn’t come close. Had the tikka masala which the chicken was definitely not done in a clay oven or even a pan it was rubbery and dry with zero color. The sauce was yellow and very watery. The naan was decent and the galub jamun was tasty tho. Won’t recommend why I had maybe the others are better I won’t find out.

Heard about a new Indian restaurant located in the historic Francis Kendall home in the heart of downtown Naperville. Our party of 3 celebrated a birthday lunch on Sunday, June 1. Incredible! Wide selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options for every course of the meal; apps, soups, entrees. The samosas were delicious! The hot crispy pastry was stuffed with fresh tasty veggies. We ordered aloo gibi, chicken biryani, lamb biryani, chicken korma, dal makhani, and garlic naan to SHARE. The portions are large and made to order, hot, fresh, and very, very flavorful. Our server asked our spice level preferencs, drew our attention to the video monitors that illustrate the menu items, and assisted us with ordering. Service was flawless. A young man, perhaps the owner, visited our table at the end of our meal. He told us a little bit about the restaurant and wanted to make sure we were satisfied. We are! We will be back! Good food, good pricing, excellent staff, thank you for a wonderful birthday experience.
