The food? Even better. The burger was clearly freshly made, juicy and flavorful. I went with the Miner’s Burger and it was absolutely delicious—definitely a must-try. And the tots… wow. Easily the best and crispiest tater tots I’ve ever had. Perfectly golden and addictively crunchy.
If you’re in the area—especially if you’re staying across the street at the Origins Red Rocks Hotel—do yourself a favor and stop by. Highly recommend!
We got our drinks and appetizers (cheese plate) at the same time. The cheese plate is very small so more than 2-3 people would need to order multiple.
We got the NY strip medium rare with fries and was told the vegetable was asparagus. This came out well done and with broccoli. We were told afterwards it was never asparagus, but wasn’t given an option to switch it out. Even after we didn’t eat it. Steak was very very salty. Second person got the fish fry for Friday. Fish was very salty (not sure if it was the batter or that it came out on top of the salty fries). The tartar sauce was just mayo.
Do not feel the quality of food or service was worth the cost. They also add additional fee for if you order a drink on the rocks. Which is not noted on the menu.
I will be using this recipe. It was amazing.
Not very busy but staff was friendly. Two ladies working there were cute and so nice.
Next to a brewery so lots of options. Close to red rocks.
Check out all those blantons toppers.
Price was about $30 for lunch with a beverage.
She was the only one working the FoH, greeting/sitting customers as they walked in, taking/running food orders and drinks, continuously checking in on us, AND doing all this in a very accommodating and polite manner. She was a gosh darn superhero.
To top everything off, our food was fantastic. We ordered the totchos, and the cojones for starters. The cojones were pretty solid, and we especially liked the bison and alfredo sauce with the bread to dip with. The totchos blew our minds. I’m not typically a big fan of tater tots, but these were the best I’ve ever had. The ones at the bottom were still crunchy even after being drenched in nacho cheese, green chili, and crema. This thing was absolutely delicious. We also ordered the ‘Juan in a Million Burger’ with the bison patty. This was excellent as well! The bun was very good, the tortilla strips added a nice crunchy texture, and the green chili sauce was such a great addition. It added a depth of flavor and moisture to each bite that really elevated to a whole new level.
I think this is my longest review so far! Just goes to show how much I enjoyed having lunch here.
Come check them out!
