First time here! Walking in the place was very clean and welcoming. Every employee we encountered greeted us warmly and seemed enthusiastic to serve us and was passionate about the food they were serving. The spring rolls were crispy and salty, in a good way. The accompanying sauce works well to balance sweet with the salty. The steak and brisket noodle soup had plenty of meat and the noodles were cooked perfectly. The broth was our favorite, it was perfectly seasoned with all the traditional Vietnamese spices that hit our nose as soon as they brought it out! My salmon and rice was great as well. Everything was cooked perfectly including the fried dippy egg on top and Im picky about eggs. We cannot wait to stop again and try all the other items on the menu although it would be hard not to get the same thing again because it was THAT good. **OH and dont forget to ask for some of their chili oil sauce to go with your food because it definitely puts it over the top if you enjoy spicy foods!

My mom and I stopped for a late lunch this past weekend and were blown away by this place! I lived in Pittsburgh for years and this ranks up there with big-city pho. HUGE portions and delicious!

Tucked away in Triadelphia, West Virginia, lies a hidden gem that sparkles with authenticity: VI A Cafe and Deli. In a region where one might least expect to find world-class Vietnamese cuisine, this establishment serves as a magnificent bridge, spanning the cultural and gastronomic gap with grace, flavor, and soul.
From the moment you step through the doors, the atmosphere transforms. It is not merely a restaurant; it is a homecoming. The staff does not simply serve you; they embrace you with the hospitality of a tightly knit family. Their genuine care is palpable as they guide you through the menu, check on your comfort, and ensure that every moment feels personal. It is a level of service that warms the spirit before the food even hits the table.
And the food—it is nothing short of a revelation.
We began with the spring rolls, which arrived fried to a golden, shattering crisp. The filling was rich and savory, a perfect textural contrast to the delicate wrapper. However, the experience was elevated to gastronomic perfection by the accompanying homemade chili sauce. The tang of the sauce provided a bright, dazzling counterpoint to the richness of the rolls.
Then came the Pho. This was not just soup; it was a masterclass in balance. The broth was refreshing yet possessed a profound, deep flavor that can only come from hours of dedication. Generous cuts of tender steak and brisket melted in the mouth, adding substance to the delicate broth. When paired with their signature homemade chili oil, the dish became an antidote to the outside world—great for any weather, making you feel warm, cozy, and genuinely loved.
VI A Cafe and Deli is more than a place to eat; it is a sanctuary of flavor and kindness. If you are anywhere near Triadelphia, do not miss the chance to experience this authentic treasure.

Everyone was very nice and helpful as we had never eaten some of these dishes. We ordered way too much food because the portions are huge. Everything was very tasty. The photo I included was one bowl of soup that we had them split.

CRAZY GOOD! This was our first visit and we had to try as many things as possible. The Bánh mi special served as an appetizer and was incredible. We tried the Dac Biet/Special pho and Tai Chin/Steak & Brisket and both were amazing. That special though with the chili oil sauce was out of this world. It’s the only way to go for some of the most incredible flavor you can imagine.

I told one of the staff I wanted to give them a hug, it felt so much like family. The hard part is if you’re a first timer to Vietnamese food, you’ll struggle to find better anywhere else and this place will get you hooked!

The best Asian food restaurant in the valley. Everything they offer is delicious. I recommend trying the different Bahn mi sandwiches, the Pho, and pastries. They also have fresh fruit smoothies which no one else truly has around the valley.
