This place is one of the best. I am a Women Veteran and they treat me as an equal. That is just the way I want it. The staff here is friendly and extremely helpful. If you are new to the area come on in and visit. Ask if someone can sign you in if you are not a member yet. And think about joining. Great place and lots of things going on. Auxillary is fantastic too!

cannot beleive what happened today at this VFW, my husband being a vet of vietnam and I decided to check out this vfw, We were not there 5 minutes when we were approached by a man about 6 ft tall with glasses asking us if we were members or we had to leave. My husband tried to explain to him we were not members but he was a vet, showing him his vet ID among other things, and stating he would like to join. when he replied someone has to sign you in if not you have to leave now WE were never so humiliated what a terrible way to treat your vets and I told him this on the way out. There was another gentleman that followed us out and looked at some Id and told us we could return, but we felt to embarrased by now. This is so degrading for this place and I will be sure to report it!! Might have been a great place once, but certainly not now!!! What a horrible way to treat your vets!!!! I might also add, I did not know smoking was now allowed in bars, the woman sitting next to me at a slot machine lit a cigarrette when this was going on. and nothing was said to her.
