52 years of Pizza excellence in New Jersey. This is a hidden gem as you have to travel to West Milford, NJ to find and experience. The Patscher family has been telling me about this place for over 4 years now for the Pizza Hunters App. Today I happend to be close and was able to stop for a classic cheese pizza. I was able to meet the legend himself, Michael, who at 87 years old in 95 degree heat, was working in the garden. The Pizza itself brought me right back to the style of slice you would get in the 80s. The sauce was outstanding and had the prefect blend of cheese and crust. The little bit of grease on the slice put it over the top. What an amazing story and journey for this Pizzeria. Not many like this left anywhere. Go now. Pie Ya. Pie Ya.

Born and raised in WM. But haven’t been back in years. Was driving through and decided I wanted some pizza. 35 years since I have had Vesuvio’s. Walked in and the same owner was there. Couldn’t believe it. Got a couple of pepperoni slices.
Took it to go. Got out to the car and demolished the first slice. Walked back in and told him “Still the best F-ing pizza”.
Top quality service and great quality food. Will have to make my way back up there more often.

Still delicious pizza. I moved out of state but was in the area and stopped for a couple of slices of good cheese pizza. It was good as always. They do have all the usual Italian dishes here also. Try it. You’ll like it.

Hands down the best slice in west milford.
Sauce is made fresh, not canned like Frank’s.
Owner takes pride in his sauce and pies.
If the rest of their food is anything like their slices, order and enjoy bliss.
I’d go as far as saying it’s a top 5 slice in the Tri-State area.

Pizza worth the out of my way home trip. My older stepson loves their pizza. He’s impossible to please. That alone speaks volumes.

This is my favorite pizza in North Jersey and possibly all of NJ. The dough and crust is just perfect. Highly recommend ordering a whole pepperoni pie. Haven’t tried individual slices, but a fresh pie will not disappoint

Way to lose a customer over a side of ranch dressing. Spent $46 on pizza and the owner threw a fit when his counter guy almost didn’t charge me for $1.75 for a small HALF FILLED ramekin of ranch dressing then proceeded to complain about his costs and profit. As a business owner myself, these are things you do for your customers.

Best pizza in West Milford & probably throughout the surrounding area. Small place, ok to dine in but better for take out.

My wife and I dined at Vesuvio Pizza yesterday. We ordered a cheese pizza and an antipasto salad. We specifically asked for the pizza to have light cheese and a crispy crust. The antipasto was excellent, containing salami, ham, provolone cheese, marinated roasted peppers, tomatoes, olives, lettuce, and oil and vinegar dressing. The pizza was served exactly how it was ordered. The flavors were balanced, and exploded with a flavor that incorporated the seasonings in the sauce, the cured dairy flavor of the mozzarella, and the finishing taste of the oregano and golden baked dough of the crust. We have been a fan of the pizza from Vesuvio for two years, and based upon our recent trip there they’re only getting better.

Food was incredible. They grow tomatoes for fresh sauce for our stromboli. The owner was there so the staff was sure the food was excellent!
