Salsa and chips were great. Food was good as well. Service was sub par. Took awhile for someone to even seat us for a restaurant that had not many people there. The server in general was nice but took awhile. She seemed like she had a lot of tables though so it’s fine.

The service was fast and attentive. The servers this evening were in street clothes and indistinguishable from the patrons.
First off, the large guacamole is enough for four people. It did not appear “just made” but made fresh.
The chips and salsa are bottomless and some of the best you’ll find in these parts.
The portions are plentiful, the food is hot, and the is on point.
The local fish tacos and the basic taco salad did not disappoint.
However, it is far from real authentic Mexican, but close enough for a great evening and meal.

Easily top 5 Mexican restaurants we’ve ever been too. Chips were thin and hot. Salsa was great. Drinks were perfect. Entrees were amazing. I had the Rancho Burrito with rice and grits. 10 out of 10. Everyone was happy. Our server was quick and attentive. The manager made two table visits. Offers indoor and outdoor seating. Great casual dining experience. Highly recommend.

Just moved to the Gulf Shores area and have been to the restaurant 4 to 5 times. My wife and I cannot say enough positive things in regard to the service, food and atmosphere. Matt, who is the manager goes out of his way to be sure all of his customers feel comfortable and checks in regularly with everyone to be sure they have everything they need. He works the tables as hard as his waiters which tells me a lot of how much he cares and the respect he has earned from his employees. In addition, Cody who works behind the bar always takes really good care of us, good person. Been to quite a few Mexican restaurants but nothing close to Cactus Cantina in Gulf Shores.

Man, this place was awesome! We’re staying in Fort Morgan outside of Gulf Shores, and with not a lot of food options around, we decided to drive and give this Mexican spot a try. So glad we did! The food was so flavorful, the service was super quick, the drinks were great, and the whole staff really took care of us. We were in and out, and all the food was damn good. Everyone was satisfied and honestly, it was the best meal we had all week. Definitely recommend!

Great drinks and the food was delicious! The staff was very friendly and we received our food and drinks quickly. The birria tacos were so good! The carnitas plate was also very delicious! We sat outside, the weather was nice and it had a nice atmosphere. The price was not bad, a little high but what isn’t high right now. Overall, it was a nice dinner and I would recommend visiting this establishment.

Everything was fantastic! I had the Three Amigos Cheese dip as an appetizer and the Boom Boom shrimp tacos and they were AMAZING! I can’t remember our servers name but he was tall with brown curly hair and he was very attentive and repeatedly checked on us. One of the managers came by and grabbed plates and asked how we were as well. They were busy and our food came out very quick! We will definitely be back again to this location asap! PS. The chimichanga cheesecake dessert ❤️❤️❤️

We had a group of seven retirees in GS on vacation. Our server, Riley, did a great job serving our demanding group and handling all the different personalities ( who were having adult beverages). The split checks, the sharing plates, the go boxes, etc. As a restaurant owner, I noticed the very timely check backs, refills, dirty dish removal, etc. Riley was super friendly, professional, funny, attentive, and efficient. The food and drinks great and the prices are very good for a tourist town. The manager came and checked on us and offered to take our pictures. Definitely will go back.
