This bar was such a highlight of our Thailand trip. It’s stylish and the music isn’t too loud. The views are breathtakingly beautiful and truly make you feel like you’re on top of the world. The food was very nice. I had the chicken burger and my mother the seabass. Sorbets were lovely as well, especially mango We will 100% return here ✨

This place is an amazing!

Mad views, Bangkok lit up below you, and instant holiday energy. Drinks are tasty, and look great and worth it for where you are.

Thank you to Jack for looking after us!

Music’s good, crowd’s fun, and the whole place just feels cool without trying too hard. Perfect spot for sunset drinks!

Vertigo and moon bar at Banyan Tree Hotel 61st floor is the best rooftop bars in Bangkok for me with an amazing panoramic view of the city skyline. the atmosphere is very romantic and luxurious especially at the night. I went there with my Japanese friend on a full moon night and seeing the full moon right in front of us made the experience even more special and memorable. People can enjoy rooftop dining, drink cocktails, take photos of the city and the moon and relax with friends or partners. Nearby places include Lumphini Park, Silom Road, and the Sathorn area, which are easy to visit before or after coming here. However, the prices are quite expensive around 800+/person(depends on the person), it can be crowded on weekends and the experience depends on the weather. Visitors should be aware of the dress code (no flipflop and wear smart casual or formal). To get there, you can take BTS to Chong nonsi or Sala Daeng or MRT to Lumphini station exit2, then take a taxi or motorbike to Banyan Tree Hotel, or you can drive there by yourself and park for free at the hotel parking. Overall, I would highly recommend this place to couples, tourist, or anyone who wants a special and unforgettable night in Bangkok.

I had a lovely evening at Vertigo in the Banyan Tree Hotel. The atmosphere was great and the service was generally good and friendly, but not consistently attentive.

For example, our water glasses were empty for quite a while without being refilled, and after we finished our drinks, no one came by to ask if we wanted to order anything else. The main course was delicious, but the side dish—the mashed potatoes—was unfortunately a bit cold.

When the coffee was served, the spoon looked dirty or already used, which wasn’t very pleasant. Considering the price level, I expected a little more attention to these details.

Overall, it was still a nice experience with good food, but the service could definitely have been a bit more attentive.

Among the many rooftop bars and restaurants in Bangkok, Vertigo is one I can confidently recommend.

Located on a high floor, it offers an exceptional sense of openness with panoramic views over the city, making it a place where you naturally feel, “If I’m going to a rooftop, this is the one I want to choose.”

You can dine on the restaurant floor as well, but personally, I strongly recommend heading to the actual rooftop area.

Spending time there while feeling the open sky and taking in the nighttime cityscape creates a special atmosphere, and the overall ambiance feels a step above many other rooftop venues.

It works well for dates, anniversaries, or as a highlight of a Bangkok trip.

One important thing to note is that because it is outdoors, you cannot go if it rains.

Checking the weather forecast in advance is essential.

As long as the weather cooperates, however, the views and atmosphere are both outstanding, making Vertigo a rooftop experience in Bangkok that is sure to leave a lasting impression.

Honestly, we were so dissatisfied and disappointed that we cannot describe it. One star is for the location and rooftop, one star is for the the drinks, but food?
1. We were greeted by the lady that wasn’t nice at all, seemed mad that we couldn’t understand what she is saying. Excuse us, but we cannot understand the accent sometimes and also with the mask it was difficult. It should have been a red flag.
2. The chicken lemongrass plate – chicken was dry, no souse, no juiciness, nothing. It was almost impossible to eat, we understand that chicken is mostly dry meat, but this way? I had to drink water the whole time during the meal to swallow it. The noodles were good.
3. My friends had stroganoff, which was cold, tough to eat, and the way is was prepared was more like – Bœuf bourguignon, not stroganoff.
4. It’s understandable that sometimes we all have good and bad days, but the price and the food didn’t cooperate together. And honestly, our stomach felt quite heavy after the food.
5. The women’s bathroom felt like a freezer, I had to pee and immediately leave but I was freezing. Even tho it sounds funny, it wasn’t. It was already colder outside, so please regular the temperature.

The personal was as always friendly and nice, we received discount, drinks, and dessert, but honestly, it wasn’t about the money. But the experience. We were in this restaurant before, everything was great. But this time is was disappointing.

Great roof top bar on the 59th floor. Open air with 360° round view.
The minimum spend is 800Baht per person but worth it.
Dress code is smart-casual. Men have to wear covered shoes.
The cocktails are delicious.
