This was by far the most delicious and incredible Italian food I’ve had in my life. The service was impeccable. I truly felt like a queen, and my daughter and I were treated like absolute royalty from the moment we walked in.
A huge shoutout to our amazing server, Christina, who delivered not only phenomenal food, but a surreal customer experience. She was attentive, knew all the specials by heart, and was genuinely warm and pleasant throughout the night.
I’ll definitely be returning to this outstanding restaurant to celebrate more anniversaries and milestones, just like I did tonight. The view is stunning, the atmosphere is beautiful, and the customer service is unmatched.
Five stars all around. If you want authentic, mouth-watering Italian cuisine paired with exceptional service, look no further than Verrazano’s.

Went for Valentines dinner with hubby. Had a late reservation down stairs with the jazz. The sounds where typical jazz play atmosphere was good. Sorta step in price. It was an awesome vibe. A specific menu, a variety. It was delicious. Had the lobster thunderous or something superb but that artichoke dip. If I hadn’t of been trying to be fancy and polite I would have licked the dish. For real. Nothing prepared early eve thing fresh.
Definitely want to come back for their regular menu. Had drinks which our waitress was also the bartender. I had the sangria. Just a regular drink.
Fun fact: the restaurant is historic I think 1920, true Authentic Italian cuisine.
Great experience can’t wait to go back for a date night!
Satisfied customer.. get the artichoke dip!

Verazanos is amazing! ️ Very friendly waitress and the food & drinks are top tier . We ordered the “Fresh Burrata Salad” & for our meals we ordered the Steak spaghetti Tuscano & House dry aged ribeye ️ We’ve reserved a time in the “music room” for our valentines dinner & felt so comfortable and pleased. Live jazz music in the background and if you’re with the right person/people, consider your day/night UNMATCHABLE.

I used to come to this Italian restaurant with my ex over 25 years ago, and it was such a wonderful experience to return, this time with my family. The setting is just as beautiful as I remember, with a stunning view of the Puget Sound and a lovely outdoor deck that makes for the perfect summer brunch or evening.

I had the steak filet mignon, which was cooked perfectly, and the walnut arugula salad was absolutely amazing fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. My dad got the clam chowder and steak like me. My mom got the spaghetti, and my sister got the lemon seafood pasta and of course we can’t go with out trying their tiramisu. It’s rare to find a place that holds up so well over the years, but this one truly does. It’s one of my favorite places to eat in Kent/Des Moines. The food, the view, and the memories all made for a perfect night. Highly recommend!

Starting with the Superlatives ; our server Stina is a Gem. Passionate, knowlegable, and a dynamic presenter of specials, and the experience to come. Super applause , she delivers !!! Atmosphere is wonderful as we chose outdoor seating on their ” Superdeck ” overlooking Commencement Bay. We picked a clear day , cooler end of September temps and a dinner start at shy of 4pm. Yes , as others have occasionally mentioned we are under Sea-Tac’s flight path , no issue for us as we are aviators or have been in the Aviation industry, and have flown extensively. The only negative was one pesky whom wouldn’t leave me alone between bites. We were close to shifting inside yet mid meal is not fair for the staff to reassign as they were full w/ reservations inside. All was well. The garlic/parmesan toasty cheezy bread was comp and a great starter w/ a reddish lobster cream along with a soup cup filled w/ marinara sauce also for dipping. Like magic those four slices vanished amidst the four of us before even making it to the sauces. My caesar was good and when I asked for extra caesar dressing it became great , thx Stina for caring to ask. My Best friend had the iceberg wedges ( full size // twin wedges ) and was loaded with either candied pecans or walnuts, goat cheese crumbles , dressing and more. Humungous portions and difficult for the two of them to finish. I was secretly hoping for a bite , never offered, never happened .Our friends did the Deep sea scallops with a veggie green base of some kind , they enjoyed them. My brides Lasagna Classico albeit modest in proportion was meaty rich, cheesy rich- delicious. Enough for her w/ a takeaway box as did all of us ! Three of us hit the dry aged Ribeyes cooked medium rare and medium ala excellente. Great taste w/ a gorgonzola cream sauce as an added side. This Federal Way Icon of thirty years is here to stay , thanking Chef Christopher ” Chris ” , our delightful host and of course everything we were presented with by Superserver ” Stina. A final surprise was the moist delish slice of lemon cake w/ the perfect amount of sweetness for all ! This wetted our appetite for another dessert , ok we will fiur way their ” Signature & Best of the West Tiramisu ” , Winner alert , unanimously voted by all of us as the Lifetime Best. P.S. our vote counts as we have over 311 years collective Life on Earth and never, ever had a better Tiramisu anywhere on thi planet ( ). Happy hour discount on the scallops, a comp lemon cake slice , a charming tableside server all made this a great visit !!! So easy to return here , hop on the Pacific Hwy and cruise control your way here avoiding traffic

First off, the ambiance and atmosphere of this place is very nice. You get a beautiful view of pungent sound and it also encompasses a classic beauty on the inside where you feel comfortable and elegant with superb service from the staff. The glass wine list is average, with the bottles being a better choice. I had the bruschetta and it was absolutely wonderful. I also had the saffron risotto side, which as a saffron lover I was very excited, however to be honest it tasted less like saffron and much more like a fancier mac and cheese. I finished off with an Italian classic, the tirimisu, and it did not disappoint. Thank you for a good time Verasanos! P.s. would make a great date night.

Initially upon entering the restaurant, I noticed it was very clean and must I say that my server was impeccable. I was very excited to eat the entrees after tasting the oven cooked garlic bread (might I say it was the best I have ver eaten in my life!). I ordered the following: the lobster stuffed ravioli, the lasagna bolognese, and the risotto. The lobster stuffed ravioli was divine and I encourage those reading it to try it but the risotto and the lasagna were subpar. Honestly I felt like I could taste the water still in the risotto and nothing really else. The lasagna was slightly better but disappointing if being evaluated at a restaurant level. Overall, I was not completely disappointed with my experience at Verrazanos and I would even come back. Great staff and some great food choices. I recommend people to come here.

We had a mixed visit, and I’m hoping we just caught them on an off night. The service was great, the restaurant is nice, and the view is amazing. The food was pretty mediocre though, particularly the various meats in our dishes (chicken in my wife’s, prawns & sausage in mine) had the texture like they were reheated instead of fresh, and the sauces dominated the flavors. It looks like others have had great experiences, and again I’ll say the service was outstanding, so hopefully it’ll be better if we decide to visit again.
