Very tasty! Good portion sizes even for the personal pizza! Lasagna was yummy and came with garlic knots. My 7yo daughter and I enjoyed it! We will definitely be back.

My family has ordered pizza from Vero’s several times with mixed results. Most of the time, the pizzas have been lacking in sauce. Last week we ordered 4 pizzas. We asked for extra sauce on all 4 and extra cheese on 2. I found out when I picked them up that we were charged $2 for each extra sauce and extra cheese! That’s crazy! I wish they had told me about these charges when I made the order. But what’s worse is that the pizzas still barely had any sauce on them at all! The sauce was so lacking that the dough had bubbled up all around the pizza. We tried calling them several times that night, but there was no answer. We were very disappointed and will not likely return.

Short walk from our hotel to have a delicious pizza and some cold beer. Danielle was a pleasure to chat with while our yummy pizza was baking. We enjoyed our visit and will come in next time we pass by Vero’s.

My family loves Vero’s! We eat there or take out from there at least once a week. The food & service are always on point. We have never had anything bad from there. My kids love the cheese pizza, my husband loves the over the top stromboli & I love the chicken marsala! The alfredo & pasta sauces are to die & we have never seen any of them “greasy”. We highly recommend!

Not sure how to approach this constructively, but…
I’ve been here several times to eat(carry out), never had a bad experience, enjoyed the food as well, Until May 4th. I ordered a Veros Stromboli, when I got I got home and started cutting into it, half of it was like dough. Reference photo below, I put it in the oven, it just didnt tast good still.
On my way back through Smithfield,(May 5th) from work, I thought, I would stop by and let them know about it, and show pictures to the manager. The girl up front said there was no manager on site. She asked if I want anything tonight? Me!!!, given the benefit of a doubt and choosingtogiveitanotherchance…, I simply just wanted a pizza instead. She didn’t offer to replace or compensate for the other order. I did not go back with the intent to get another one free, or to reimburse. But, she didn’t even offer to make it right. Reguardless, In today’s time, you would think that people would act like they cared about Customer service. They did not, they just wanted to get you in and get you out. It seemed like they had a careless attitude. Not a people person attitude.
I have spoke highly about this place before, Not sure about it now. Something has changed with the in that place from the last time I was there, The Pizza even, was different. So now the reasoning for me leaving this review, Is for the manager or someone in charge to see this, since how there was not a manager on site.

Today! I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The staff was poor service and the food was mediocre at best. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The pasta sauce was horrible, very greasy, it didn’t taste like anything. I ate it by adding a little red sauce, which was also greasy, I had never eaten something so poorly prepared.

Small pizza place with nice atmosphere, great service, and very clean. Upscale restaurant even though you can order pizza by the slice. We visited around 1:30 on a Wendesday and was able to walk right in and sit down. They have Red Oak on tap, which is awesome!

Had lunch here today first time at this restaurant it is small but clean and well decorated. I ordered a calzone which was excellent. The filling was excellent just as it should be mozzarella ricotta and ham. The crust was very very good. I liked that it wasn’t over baked sometimes the bottom crust is so hard you can hardly cut it that was not a concern here. The white staff is OK they did check on me by simply asking across the room from the bar if I was OK. I’m gonna give them a pass on that we are living in COVID-19 virus times. My only complaint is they serve the calzone on aluminum tray which I’m OK with however it is served on top of a piece of checkered paper. The problem is as you cut the calzone and the ricotta runs out the paper becomes soggy and tears so you never sure if you’re eating calzone or paper. If the calzone is been served on a plate I would’ve given five stars.

We really wanted this place to be a gem, however tonight’s food was a disgrace to pizzerias. First, we had to wait a considerable amount of time for this mess. Secondly, the dough smells like pre-made biscuit dough. The orange colored greasy cheese looked very unappetizing. There was a black debris throughout the edging of the pizza slices that was extremely hard and not a familiar spice. It looked to be foreign material.
The pizza legitimately appeared to be cooked much earlier in the day and reheated for our order. The pictures speak volumes to the issues in the kitchen. We threw the $30(!) pizza slices in the trash and went to bed without dinner. This was going to be our dinner and lunch tomorrow, very upset we wasted $30!!!
Most definitely not worth even half the cost for any setting. I would recommend bowling alley pizza or even CiCi’s pizzeria before returning here.
Simply upsetting to write this review based upon the facility appearance and nice staff. However, if you’re willing to serve this junk to your patrons, charge a premium than you really don’t have much respect for us.
