We had a wonderful dining experience at Verona Fresh Italian! Despite being extremely busy and short-staffed due to a team member’s illness, the service was exceptional. We waited a bit for our food, but the staff were proactive—they came to explain the situation before we even had to ask.
To our surprise, they waived the cost of our dessert and even treated us to an extra gelato and a freshly made Tiramisu. They also noticed our table was a bit cramped and proactively helped us adjust the space to make us more comfortable. The manager and servers were so warm, checking in on us multiple times to ensure we were satisfied. Truly professional and heartfelt service. Highly recommend!

I’ve been coming here for over three years to play music, and the vibe and atmosphere still never ceases to amaze me. The same goes for the food, hands down the best pizza on the Sunshine Coast. And trust me, I don’t say that lightly. I’ve eaten pizza all over the world and I’m a serious critic when it comes to food. Every visit here is consistently amazing. Highly, highly recommend.

We went to the restaurant because we had seen the menu online beforehand and read the good reviews from others. (2 people)
The place is nice, the music is cool, and the restaurant was full. The table we were seated at was very good; so far, nothing out of the ordinary.
The waitress in charge of our table was impeccable.
The wait for the food was a little long, but it doesn’t warrant a negative review. We had decided to order two pizzas (Parisian + Magic Truffle with burrata as an extra $6.50).
Another waitress brought us the pizzas (and got the table wrong just before…). The truffle pizza arrived, and when I went to cut the burrata on top, I had a little trouble with the texture, even though it’s something I regularly order in Italian restaurants, so I found it odd. (Photo)
The burrata was anything but creamy. It had the texture of feta. The pizza crust was burnt to a crisp, and the taste was nothing like Italian. It was still edible, though, so let’s not exaggerate, and I finished my pizza. But it definitely doesn’t deserve a 4.4 rating on Google.
We mentioned to a waiter and a waitress that the burrata wasn’t good, but they didn’t offer any compensation.
After this disappointment, which can happen to anyone, I wanted to end on a high note with a tiramisu—what a mistake!
Please don’t order the tiramisu if you like tiramisu! The cake was dry, not soaked in coffee at all. Maybe it was several days old. I have no idea.
Luckily, we only had water to drink! (A little humor amidst this culinary disaster.)
When we went to pay, we noticed a mistake on the price of one of the desserts ($2). The server told us it was the correct price. We asked to check the menu, and we were right to do so. The price on the bill was higher than the price on the menu. Once again, no apology or gesture of goodwill…
Finally, when it came time to pay, the machine wasn’t working. We waited between 5 and 10 minutes, and to top it all off, they didn’t offer any compensation.
It deserves a 2/5. No more. And it’s not Italian at all.

We were waiting for more than 50 minutes for our meals to arrive and it tasted bland. Very disappointing! The spaghetti bolonhese had absolutely no taste and only fat. No meat, see photo. The prawns pasta, again no taste. We had to pit a lot of salt so we could eat as it is expensive. Super overrated, go somewhere else if you want a nice dinner. Do not recommend!
Update: I’m sorry but this is not consistent with our experience. We were absolutely NOT advised of 30 mins wait, and it took 50mins. We were starved when the meals came. No point complaining, there were nothing else open. You as the manager, should do the business a favour and order the meals in secret and try it yourself. You won’t regret and hopefully make some changes to the service, menu/kitchen/chef. Your welcome!

I swear this is the best pasta and unique garlic bread I’ve ever had. Partner was so impressed with his dish too.

Ok we had a table around the corner which was perfect position away from mainstream and very nice and breezy. Just bring a ladder if your short to get up on the high chairs lol. Very clean and quiet
We ordered drinks Peroni and a lemonade $15
We ordered the best garlic bread ever. Like a pizza base long roll with roasted garlic on top and fresh, yes fresh, rosemary sprigs! The garlic spread like a paste it was so nice, very unexpected
Ordered gambari al lemone
Partner ordered salsiccia di Napoli
Comes out with lovely presentation, hot and not drowning in sauce
Mine had the most delectable fresh prawns, not chewy or rubbery and had the ocean flavour, spaghetti was Al dente honestly was 10/10 and the hint of lemon flavour just hit your palate at the right time. Was delightful and had flavour without he pasta trying to survive in a sea of sauce
Partner was very impressed with his , I tasted it and it had a nice meaty tomato flavour with the sausage in it, the shell pasta was small and the right size for dining without him dripping it everywhere lol

Parking is either lucky in the st directly outside like we scored for once or just in the birtinya shops car park, it’s like a few minutes walk
Area is kept clean, it’s bright and happy . Desserts were offered but I didn’t want to round the flavours dancing I’m my mouth. Quite a party going on in there
Prices are very reasonable

They have pasta dishes ,pizzas,risotto,salads,
gluten free meals,vegan,desserts and at the end of the menu it tells you the meaning of some of the ingredients.well done guys

Our first time dining here, and it certainly won’t be our last! From the moment we arrived, Ally made us feel so welcome with her warm, bubbly personality and in-depth knowledge of the menu.
