My family absolutely loves Verona! This chorizo, egg and potato burrito is to absolutely die for – size is perfect and the taste is 10/10!! Staff is always welcoming and the atmosphere, while busy (which is a great thing and testament to the hardwork the owners have put into Verona), is friendly, welcoming and one of a kind.
We also are big fans of their B&Gs, chicken poblano soup, cortados and Jalapeno Sconewich! Cannot give Verona enough praise for their awesome coffee shop!

Food is so good, drinks are great. We love the matchas, breakfast sandwiches and fruit refreshers. Literally everything is good. Their service is exceptional! This is my secret coffee shop, but a public review is necessary as the owner just dug my vehicle out of a snowy parking spot. So grateful for her!

Totally awesome breakfast sandwiches. Service was excellent. The coffee is better than any coffee shop by far. The wait was worth it.

Great coffee! It’s too bad there is only one gluten-free muffin available for those of us who can’t tolerate gluten. I really loved the atmosphere and the coffee. I went there for lunch with a friend, and was really disappointed that there was no gluten-free bread.

Went to coffee to cocktails recently. Amazing customer service with delicious drinks. Pretzel breadsticks are to die for and wings are crispy and the rub was great. Highly recommend blackberry whisky and apple butter old fashion. We also got coffee even after hours. Perfect place for date night without having to deal with too much of the Bloomington crowd.

Best coffee I’ve had in a long time! Their seasonal options are always a great pick, and very on theme for the seasons. For a place that seems centered around coffee I was pleasantly surprised with their food options and how they taste! The atmosphere is very pleasent, though busy at most times. The crew does an amazing job as well, very friendly and happy to help! 10/10

This place has the best selection of luxury and specialty drinks and coffee in the town for a pretty decent price and is always thanks to a wide variety of seasonal specials. The hot breakfast is cooked to order and is also great, and the baked goods are always at least good, with baked specials being excellent. My only gripe is it’s growth in popularity causing it to be in too small a space and what seems like sometimes too few of staff. I’m betting this is a growing period for them as, if they had a second location or larger space, they’d likely be rapidly expanding. I want to put 4 stars for the wait / line sometimes causing me to walk out but when there isn’t more than 8-10 people in line it’s always worth it

A month ago I started going to Verona weekly to work for a few hours while I enjoyed some delicious cold brew. I had grown fond of this coffee shop and often recommended it to others. I always looked forward to my visits and would’ve rated it at 4- stars, but the last few have been rather disappointing. The customer service and quality of the drinks has gone downhill. The last time I ordered a cold brew with cold foam as I have done weekly, it was lacking in the amount of cold foam so I politely asked for more and was met with a begrudging employee who said I was given the standard amount, and topped me off. This time I ordered the same thing and guess what, the ice was the entire drink. I ordered a 20oz cold brew coffee with cold foam and it had 3/4 of the cup filled with ice, leaving me with possibly 8oz of cold brew. I politely asked for cold brew to top off my drink as the ice was a majority of my cup and asked if I should be ordering light ice now and if this is the norm. The employee responded rather shortly that it’s always been this way which is not true in my experience. She begrudgingly gave me a few oz of cold brew to pour in my cup and even less for my husband’s drink which was all ice as well. It seems that more ice and less cold foam (likely to increase profit) is the new normal so be aware when ordering. Honestly my order was $17 for two drinks and a cookie and I should’ve only been charged $8 for the amount of cold brew (16oz) received. How much is frozen water these days?
Additionally the chairs are all wobbly and should be tightened regularly, someone may fall or a chair might break.
Parking is also very challenging as the spots are very limited due to the location.
Cookies are overly sweet but soft.
I will continue my hunt for the perfect cold brew coffee and chill coffee house vibes. Wishing you the best in your business endeavors.

Very cozy energy, and delicious tea lattes! Can’t believe I didn’t know about this place sooner. It’s hard to find coffee shops in town that do tea well, but I loved the tumeric ginger chai latte, and the food is also fresh and tasty. The biscuit breakfast sandwich is great!

Bloomington has a lot of great coffee shops, but this is one of the best. Great quality food and beverages, a good variety too. Make sure to bring a few dollars to tip! I was not able to tip with card
