Such an unusual spot; little building off the highway by itself. Atmosphere was fab, cozy, lively, rustic cabin vibes. Drinks were good and service was attentive and knowledgeable. I’ll be coming back to try again as maybe I just got an off night (valentine’s) and my food was hit or miss. Husband loved his duck and we enjoyed the lemon and pistachio dessert. But my French onion soup was not great (cheese kinda hard and not melted well and I didn’t like the flavor of the broth/onions) and the cioppino was okay; I’ve had more flavorful. (You don’t see a lot of cioppino in Vermont so it’s great that it’s offered here) If this was a pub I would’ve said great, but I was expecting more. I would recommend it for a nice night and we will be coming back to try again for sure.

I honestly was hesitant to dine at VT Fine as my expectations were high as I loved the previous restaurant that maintained that space. However, I was blown out of the water. We had a big party and everyone’s food was delicious and perfectly cooked and presented. The Kale Brussel Caesar salad was a favorite, all greens dressed and shaved perfectly. I also loved the mushroom risotto, although I didn’t order this particular entree, I stole bites from my friends plate. I ordered the ginger mussels, which I would order again! The service was great the waitstaff was pleasant, patient, and prompt. The music was top notch! I couldn’t have picked a better play list! The Rummer Dreaming beverage was beyond expectations and probably one of my favorite drinks of all time. The rosemary garish was a wonderful touch! The whole vibe was on point and I can’t wait to go back!

There are no amount of words that can express how good this place is. It’s near the highway so very accessible if you’re visiting like we were.

I love that they have a huge chalkboard with all the local farms that they’re using for all of their food. Every piece of art on the wall is a local artists and for sale. The menu had something for everybody between pasta, a burger, salads, and even seafood.

I had the mushroom risotto and added scallops. The risotto was done perfectly. It was so full of flavor and the scallops just melted in my mouth. My husband got the lamb sandwich which was something really different for him and he loved it. We tried the pierogies and sausage, for an appetizer. We also had the fettuccine Alfredo main dish, and my toddler would not let the adult who ordered it eat the pasta. It is made in house and absolutely the best pasta I’ve ever had. Then for dessert my girls were so excited to have the maple tart and the goat cheese brownie. The kids were so happy with the desserts, that when we made a second trip there on our vacation, they had to order them again!

Ryan our server was very attentive and proactive when it came to our needs. She was also very patient as we had five children, age 12 to 2.

We can’t wait to make it a regular family stop every year when we are in Vermont!

Loved it! The food was superb, the cocktails and dessert were worth the carbs! Service was excellent—Kiah was attentive, provided great insights, and tipped us off early that they were running out of a dessert that she highly recommended (info on which we acted and her recommendation was spot-on). I was worried that the new owner’s efforts to dial back the atmosphere would be too much, but if there were any, I didn’t notice them. My wife and I left there remarking that we’re going to put the new place ‘in rotation’

My husband and I had the welcome dinner for our wedding at Vermont Fine and everything was perfect! The food and drinks were incredible, and Tom and Chelsea took great care in meeting the dietary accommodations for our guests. The set-up for the party was beautiful, and the service was great. We highly recommend reaching out to them for your event!

We had an amazing meal this evening. Our server Kia was delightful, attentive and very welcoming. The menu is a gorgeous variety of locally sourced ingredients and the portions are beyond generous. Also, every dish we had was extremely well composed and thoughtfully plated. Thank you for curating a restaurant with such a cozy feel and serving delicious cocktails and food.

We celebrated a birthday last minute with a party of 5 and they were able to accommodate, which was a big win. I also really enjoyed the cioppino, and the cannolis were outstanding! Others in my party ordered fun and well-executed cocktails, and everyone approved of the meal. It is hard to follow a place like the Kitchen Table, but they are off to a great start!

This restaurant is what Chittenden County has been waiting for! The atmosphere was truly amazing. I sat in the bar area where it was very relaxed and cozy. There were also lots of other rooms that would be perfect for family get togethers as they were more private and a little more formal. The food was unbelievable and although I didn’t order a cocktail (a glass of red) I will be back for one. I got the Cioppino and the seafood was super fresh and of great quality and simply delicious – the flavor of the broth was to die for! I was super pleased when I got the dish to see the size of the clams and scallops. I left nothing. Just a perfect experience! I am still dreaming of it.

We had a great experience getting appetizers at the bar as walk-ins. The cocktails were creative and there was a good selection of seasonal appetizers. Service was prompt, friendly and professional. The environment, same as the prior establishment is cozy and bright. I’m so grateful to have another great restaurant in our area!

Service was good, drinks were great. The food was fairly priced for the portion sizes. I was unimpressed with the quality of the food – my fiancé and I both thought that it tasted as though everything had been cooked in advance and then microwaved before being brought to our table. We had the cannoli for dessert. It tasted great, but the texture of the filling was a bit grainy, which was unfortunate. Also, this might be a bit nitpicky, but I was surprised that there wasn’t anywhere to hang our coats – I feel that in Vermont, it’s important to have a place available for this so you’re not wadding your coat up on your lap while you’re eating. Overall, we had a good time, but will probably not go again.
