I love going to The Lab! My current cider fave is The Sloaner – blueberry basil! So good! Great live music every week. The staff are attentive and very friendly. I wasn’t much of a cider drinker until I tasted theirs. Very refreshing! Oh and I love their slushies, too!

Love this little spot. Most all of the ciders are dry but there were a few sweeter options which we prefer. Very dog friendly. Dogs allowed inside and also have a patio out front. Love that they have poorhouse pies too!

Absolutely phenomenal experience at Vermont Cider Lab! The cider here is hands-down some of the best I’ve ever had — crisp, creative, and perfectly balanced. You can tell they take real pride in their craft. Each pour was more impressive than the last! On top of that, the service was outstanding. The staff were incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what they do. It felt like we were hanging out with old friends who just happened to serve amazing cider. If you’re anywhere near Essex, this place is a must-visit. Can’t wait to come back!

We had a private event at Cider Lab (50th birthday ) and it was fantastic! Chris was so easy to work with and made the process so simple. They had buffet tables set up for us and were really accommodating for anything we needed. Their team was super friendly and made the event even more enjoyable. Their cider slushies are also amazing !!! I would highly recommend Cider Lab on any regular day but even more so if you want to have a well run event in a fun space.

We stopped in to meet some friends that had heard about it. So glad that we did. They make some really good ciders and even will mix certain cocktails drinks with them like a Cider-rita with tequila. They have great service and even took us out back to show us the operation and how they do it. I work at another local brewery and have been recommending people to stop in and check them out. Love seeing new upstart Vermont businesses making some great product locally.

The cider is bland. The flavors don’t seem mixed in, they taste more like an after thought. Maybe somewhere other than Vermont this place might be more to my liking, but other cider places have set a damn high bar.
The corporate, strip mall location isn’t for me either.
The food is all from other locations, which is cool, but it’s better fresh at those places.
