My wife and I are pizza lovers, and we don’t mind the price when we find what we truly want. Verdelago pizza is a gem! The ingredients are reminiscent of my childhood, growing up in an Italian community, and I haven’t tasted anything like it in years.
We drive an hour one way just for this pizza, and it never disappoints! The only downside is that we’re not from here and are flying back home on Friday. It’s bittersweet, but it’s absolutely worth it for the amazing flavors and memories it brings. Highly recommend! ❤️

You are not allowed to die without trying this pizza! It’s the closest you can get to authentic Italian pizza right here. I tried five different flavors, and every single one was an incredible experience! Each bite was bursting with flavor and authenticity. I highly recommend this place to all pizza lovers out there. You won’t regret it!

The best pizza I’ve EVER had. The food and service are one of a kind. Feel free to order anything because EVERYTHING is delicious, you cannot go wrong. All of it handmade with pride and love for the craft, you can taste the passion in every bite. Oh and how about soda imported from Italy?… yes you can enjoy that here too. This is Italian-made pizzas/foods with all handmade quality ingredients, you’d think you were in Italy. Italian music, Italian food… wonderful all around.

Delicious! We’ve tried pizza, pinwheels and chicken parm rolls a few different times. Fresh ingredients and looks pleasing to eat. Best spinach cheese pinwheel I’ve ever had! Hearty portion and stuffed full. Owner is very friendly too.

A 4.7 rating for this place is insane. Garlic knots are tiny, have almost no flavor, definitely not enough garlic, weren’t even hot. The pizza…. I’ve had better pizza in Florida which is crazy. The cheese doesn’t even go all the way to the crust, the crust was extra thick, the sauce doesn’t go to the crust, and the cheese is the typical cheap cheese everyone has gone to. This is not consistent with what a Jersey Pie should typically look and taste like. I know options are limited for WM these days, but there are definitely better options than here.

This place is amazing. I moved to the area from a large city recently and the pizza around here is depressing. Except for here. Their Detroit style pizza tastes like a symphony is performing a live concert in your mouth.
