I come here pretty often, today whoever is working needs to be talked to. I politely greeted her when walking in and went to say I had an online order with my name (as I always do), she cuts me off harshly and asks me several questions … which I just answered when I said “online order for___.” I get it, maybe she was focused? Except she proceeds to keep her rude tone and tells me I’m way too early even though my online tracking said something else. She just stares at me and shows me her screen, shrugging. I just said whatever because I’m not going to argue with someone preparing my food. Idk why it took an hour for one item and no one was there, so it wasn’t busy. A person walked in and was told 20 minutes for their order? If she’s too lazy to work, let her find another job.
Very unhappy with this worker, almost cancelled the order entirely. Every other time I’ve been here, they’ve been very polite and I’ve loved it here. This was a younger woman with a rude tone wearing a bills jersey, totally disgusted by her behavior but Go Bills, I guess.

I’m still on the fence, hence, the three rating – even after having ordered from Venus G&M several times before at this location. The food is outstanding. We enjoy the Chicken Souvlaki Pita Wrap and the Greek Fries. The Boom Boom Chicken Wrap is a winner. The quality of the food is lovely and extremely tasty.
My issue comes to waiting time/service. My last order I placed online for an hour later, so that (in theory) I get out of work, collect the food and go home. I get the text message and says it will be twenty minutes later than my schedule requested time. Okay then. Ultimately, I get my food ($35 worth) then drive home to discover the baklava is missing. Driving almost twenty more minutes, after work, to get $5 worth of baklava is not worth it.
Most of my previous orders I end up waiting, which is why I feel compelled to write this. I see this on the faces of other customers. Whether other waiting customers choose to say something or not is their choice.
Ultimately, wonderful food I have to wait extra time for. Don’t leave Aphrodite waiting.

I’m Greek, so I’m picky when it comes to Greek food — and while Venus isn’t a traditional Greek restaurant, I have to say their gyro really surprised me. It was actually very good, and I’d definitely recommend it.

Only one person working the entire restaurant, food took way way too long. Tables are dirty (probably not enough staff to keep clean).. was told food would take 20-25 min after transaction on credit card. Probably should give that information prior so customers can decend to wait or leave. Also, was told no cups available for tap water so forced to buy bottle water. Not cool. Plus charging extra for hot sauce not great…

The staff is very well mannered , got my food very quickly. I’m a regular here and they have never disappointed me everything I’ve ever ordered has been on point. The best recommended dish is Greek fries or the gyro wraps they are so delicious. 10/10 the owner is absolutely wonderful as well.

First Time Customer. Takeout Order {Chicken Bowl}…Food was OK…I would characterize the food as more Mediterranean than Greek. Rice and Garlic sauce was very prominent with a “chopped” salad “bed” component being lost in the presentation. Other diners ordered Beef Schwarma Wrap and Falafel with Greek Fries. Each dinner found the food good but “wanting”. Order was accurate and ready when expected. Customer service was pleasant and courteous. We will try again.

There was nothing Greek about this place. If you have an item on the menu and it’s a Greek item don’t you think it should be somewhat traditional. The tzatziki sauce was nothing more than ranch dressing. I’m aware it’s not a fancy place, but even a to go place would serve you in something other than a to go container. It’s not as if the meal was in the price range of McDonald’s, it was higher than that
