We were excited to see Venus open again. We have been here twice. I ordered the Country Fried Steak. It was pretty flavorless except for the heavy flour taste. I couldn’t eat much of it. The last time we came I ordered French toast. It was good but very lukewarm. The other three people did not like their dinners. I hope it’d I come back there is improvement. The atmosphere is good.

My family has been going here my whole life. Everything I’ve ever eaten here has been good. Breakfast is served all day and they have some great deals. The coneys and burgers are good and the French fries are awesome (they even stay crisp when you order takeout).

For a Coney Island diner it was really good. Good prices and lots of food. Good value. The service was fast and they were very accommodating. They handled a special requests on meals and nailed it. The restaurant was very clean. It looked like it may have been remodeled fairly recently because it looked nice and open … just a guess. The food was good diner food. We mostly had breakfast fare and it was good and plentiful. The burrito was huge! I would recommend this place!

This place has changed hands and is no longer Venus. It is now Antionio’s. It is wonderful. I got the fish special of the day. Way more than I could eat and was very, very good. The mac and cheese was amazing and huge portions. Price was good too. And when you consider my portion was enough to make two meals, it was cheep. I definitely recommend.

I’ve been going to Venus for 30 years. It had become a bit dated, but the service has always been top notch. The new owners have really revitalized the place and updated the menu options so there’s more for everyone to like. It’s much more open and bright inside and the booths are actually comfortable. The service is still top notch and they’re still as kid-friendly as ever.

Been going here for many many years whoever took over from the original family let it go down hill for awhile then new owners got it and food is back to being excellent again they did some updates on the interior and it looks great overall back to the same great Venus that’s been around forever with some updates however seems to be a little on the expensive side and my own experience was I read the old menu with old prices and was charged from the new/revised menu not a big deal to me though it was good but expensive husband wife 2 small kids ( 7 and 4) $55 with tip to the waitress ….on the menu it says served with fries but your charged additional for those fries so when it says $7.99 for a small sandwich your only getting that sandwich for $7.99 or $9.00 whatever the case may be it’s expensive! Love going to Venus but for the money I’ll probably not go here often

Just reopened after remodeling, but they didn’t change their menu or, it would seem, their lousy cooks. Food was bland, overpriced and they nickle and dime you for everything. If you want lettuce and tomato, that costs extra. We offer a dozen different breads for toast, but only white and wheat don’t cost extra. And they don’t tell you this ahead of time, they let you be surprised when you see the bill! And the waitress we had wasn’t understanding why she had to charge extra so it took her 5 minutes to find out why she had to charge us extra. We quit visiting this place before they closed, and we’ll be surprised if they last the year.

Breakfast is awful, dinners are overpriced for the quality. Service could be better. Don’t use the restroom without paying your bill first, they’ll think you ran out. It was definitely much better before these new owners took over.

Once again ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐! Absolutely love everything about the Venus. Great food, good prices, large portions, amazing waitstaff. Missed my favorite waitress Alexis but the new girl Theresa did an excellent job. I also highly recommend you try their other restaurant, The Classic in Genesee.
