I stopped by on Saturday with my wife for some lunch. I heard of the fundraiser this restaurant is having with the knights of Columbus. The restaurant will donate 20% of your bill to the knights. I thought that was tremendous and admirable. We shared several dishes like vegetables chow mein, orange peel beef and some beef that I don’t remember the actual name. Everything tasted fresh and service was quick even tho it looked like a good lunch rush was the going on at the time. We had some ice cold flavored tea which we both enjoyed very much. We decided to share this place with our daughter so we pick up one of the lunch specials to go. Price was reasonable, the good was delicious, service was quick and friendly. Every experience at a restaurant should go like this experience we had. Will definitely return to try some more dishes on the menu.

Food: wontons were tiny and the soup was bland. Garlic pepper shrimps were crispy but portion is too small. Filet mignon cubes were flavorful but pretty wet.

Service: friendly cashier and courteous

Atmosphere: big place for large groups and clean

After coming here for over 8 years, I can say this place has been my go to for authentic Asian cuisine! If you’re trying to expand your horizons, I recommend the salty fish chicken fried rice. There’s just no going back to plain old fried rice after you’ve had that umami explosion from the salty fish!

The service here is just awful. I waited an hour and 15 minutes for my food! After half an hour, I asked for an update, and they didn’t even know what my order was, even though I’d already paid. An hour in, they asked if they could take my order again, and I had to show them my receipt to prove I’d already ordered and paid. Finally, the lady got my order ready. I was pretty annoyed, so I double-checked everything before I left. I asked for some sweet and sour sauce and then finally got out of there. The food’s okay, but definitely not worth that kind of wait. This is actually the second time they’ve done this to me, but it’s so convenient that I gave them another shot. I totally regret it now.

Been coming here for some time now so I am definitely biased. That said, food here is served to order and is always fresh and hot. This recent visit we (the Wife and I and my Son) had an order of egg fried rice, sweet and sour fish and moo shu pork. All of the dishes were delicious, nothing to note in the way of any disappointment. They have a great beef chow fun and many of the other dishes are very good. Will definitely be back and I definitely recommend coming here if you are looking for some good Chinese food in the area. Only note to make is it can get busy here and the owner and a few staff run this place so call ahead and order to go or just be patient…it is definitely worth it .

We ordered a big to go order and were missing one item. We called to simply ask if we were charged so we can just let it be BUT the (worker or owner) said no we weren’t. They put us in hold so they can double check.

After going online and making our order again. THEY LIED and did charge us. I like this place and I like the food. BUT lying to a customer and trying to lie more NOT good for business…

Been a while since we ate here. Things change. Menu offering much less. Food okay. Mid. Wish they still had traditional HK food items like before. Lunch special good price.

It’s not the first time I order from this local restaurant as I like to suppport local businesses in my community. Today I ordered as my parents were visiting and they were craving Chinese food. I used Door Dash as a delivery service and when the order arrived which took over an hour to prepare and the dasher had to reach out to me that she had been waiting over 20 minutes for the order. When the order arrived the soup was the wrong one, ordered 1 order of orange chicken and one of orange beef but received two of the chicken and no beef. Ordered egg rolls and didn’t come.

A business in today’s world needs to value their customers especially when my order was over $130 dollars. It’s ridiculous that someone can’t make sure the order is correct before it leaves their restaurant.

Saw this place from the street whilst traveling North on Grand Ave in Covina. Turned around and decided to stop on in & give ’em a try. Ordered the fried rice special (comes with fresh, small shrimp, beef bits and chicken nibblets) PLUS the ‘Full Size’ Kung Pao Beef platter. WOW, pretty darned good and a whole lotta food to boot! Will be back soon for certain !

The inexplicable homey atmosphere adds to the great food and polite service. Portions and quality for the price is just right- you could find more food for your money at any Chinese fast-food joint, but I bet the quality wouldn’t compare. That said, a family of four can get away with a $40-$60 with leftovers and satisfied palates. Tip- Skip the “House” rice/mein and go for the unique twists (still listed near the top of the menu), like the egg white fried rice.
