What a fantastic tiki experience! We went during happy hour and had 4 drinks and some kalua pork sliders. Christie was an amazing waitress with a deep knowledge of the menu-beyond-the-menu as well as the food. If you have any interest in tiki culture and authentic tiki bars more specifically, don’t miss this place!!

Place is off the hook! Super fun drinks and atmosphere. A little off the main strip but found this little dive bar. Mostly drinks but foods good too. I went with friends and got the $35 top shelf signature drink where you get to keep the mug. Will be back to try more. Fantastic place to try different drinks and get to know people. Highly recommended

Amazing tiki bar. Absolutely top quality traditional cocktails in an incredibly well decorated bar. The bartenders are fantastic and a wealth of information. The food is honestly better than most of the places back in Oahu.

It’s too bad we only had time for one drink because I wanted at least 5 things on the menu. Delicious cocktails, great atmosphere and overall a fantastic spot for a drink at sunset. A local at the nearby shop said the food was good too.

We’re visiting from out of state, and when I asked a local friend which bar he’d recommend, this tiki lounge was at the top of his list. The atmosphere is great, very fun tiki vibe, and the music was spot on. It’s a really cool place to hang out and relax.
Unfortunately, the experience was slightly dampened by the blonde young male bartender, who came across as unfriendly and not very open to conversation when we tried to ask a few questions about Ventura. Because of that, I’m removing one star.
Overall, still a great spot and worth checking out.

I love ventiki. I’ve been frequenting for years. I came September 14th for my birthday and it was AMAZING, omg. The bartender. The waitress. Perfection. The best birthday i could ask for and it made me want to come back even more.
So I came back today. October 17th. The waitress wasnt great. She refused multiple cards. There was 4. Thats semi fine. But she lost almost 100$ + tip in just one person alone because he always gets a lot but he only got one bc thats all I could afford. So we all lost out because of that. Which is really sucky but not terrible.
For the drinks, most people would be happy they were REALLLY strong. Im not a drinker, so it was super strong and not really that good. The bartender did remake it ♡♡♡ but she was not happy about it. Which I’m sorry about on her end.
My best advice, because I love ventiki, go Sundays. The waitress is amazing. Idk if the same bartender will be there as sept 14th, but thats okay bc the waitress is a godsend.

If you’re in Ventura looking for a cool, fun spot to get good food and drink, look no further. This is a cool locals spot, which serves good food, and what makes this place even better is that it’s a tiki bar. A mixologists approach is used when prepping the drinks, and as a result, the drinks are well balanced and tasty. The bartenders here are knowledgeable about the tiki culture, both historically and cocktailwise, which adds to the appeal. This spot is first come, first served. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. Definitely stop by, grab a seat, and enjoy good food, drink, and people. Cheers and I’ll see you there!

We arrived for an early dinner (5pm). We were « welcomed » by a the security guy. We got the menus right away but it took them 30mins to take our order and another 30mins to get our food. Our drinks arrived after we were done eating. The food was okay but they made a mistake in our order and the poke was good (with a lot of salmon compared to to the quantity of rice) but small. The waitresses were nowhere to be found and screaming when they were there. We’ve seen several table of 2 leaving before not even getting their order in. When time arrive to pay we got the bill, but again it took them forever to give us the possibility to pay.
I am really surprised of their 4.5 stars.

One of the best Tiki bars this side of the country! Knowledgeable bartenders care about preserving Tiki culture, not just through the drinks they craft, but the atmosphere they keep. Awesome people with great recommendations for other bars around the country. Make sure you stop by for Tsunami Warning, the best happy hour in the city. Ask for their postcard too!

The food here is dangerously good – absolutely phenomenal quality! You can definitely add this to the list of best restaurants in town. The drinks are also incredible with a wide selection. There are three different seating areas all with their own atmosphere. The bartenders are all awesome. Love the vibe here! One of my favorite tiki places!
