Velodrome Coffee Company quickly became our favorite coffee spot while staying in Marquette. The atmosphere is inviting and cozy, and the woman who made our chai tea lattes was incredibly kind — such a genuine, friendly interaction that set the tone for the whole visit.

The drinks were exceptional, crafted with care and full of flavor. It was easily the best coffee experience we had on our trip.

The photography from a local artist adds a beautiful, creative touch to the space, making it feel both personal and inspiring. Between the great service, warm atmosphere, and outstanding drinks, Velodrome is an absolute gem.

Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

Coffee and pastries done well. They have some merch and nice spaces. Bright and open today. The waffles were heartier than expected but also the perfect pairing for the coffee.

We stopped by the Marquette location and absolutely loved their seasonal drink, Beach Read—a dreamy combo of espresso, milk, Japanese cherry blossom, orange, and coconut. It’s a collaboration with Read My Lips, the cozy local bookstore, and the flavor was both delicate and refreshing. The café has a welcoming vibe and makes a perfect stop after a lake stroll or bookshop visit.

If you’re into paying premium prices for a side of attitude, this might be the place for you. The staff has a very “you’re bothering us by being here” vibe, which is impressive considering how many nearby coffee shops manage to be friendly and polite at the same time.

Pricing is… ambitious. Nearly $9 for a drink, plus $1.50 for an extra shot of espresso—bringing an espresso close to $10. Apparently the attitude is included in the cost.

With so many better coffee options in the area, I’ll be spending my money elsewhere and won’t be returning to any of their locations in town.I’m

This place is a great little study spot; pretty quiet & lots of seating. The (seasonal) Fruity Pebble latte was surprisingly good and not too sweet! BF had the coconut latte and enjoyed it as well. I’m not super into “modern” decor but this place balances it well with the wood tables. It is also a little pricey; good as a treat!

This is definitely the coffee shop for people who really like a good cup of high quality coffee.
I like that they have a small latte menu that consists of maybe 2 lattes, one being a unique seasonal latte. Their seasonal latte flavors feel very special. Their little baked goods like scones and cookies were really good and also unique. I have yet to try their food but it looks good.

But this place is definitely more for true coffee drinkers. Their pour overs are very good but even their darkest roast has a lighter flavor profile. They don’t leave much room for cream unless you ask, so if you like your coffee straight, this place is great!

The vibe is simplistic and quiet. A great place for people to get some work done.

Perfect place for a chilly Saturday morning in autumn. Place was busy but not hectic, music playlist was perfect for the moment.

Had a Columbian pour over and brown sugar latte, waffle and egg bacon biscuit.

Brown sugar latte was not overly sweet, great texture on the milk.

Columbian pour over was enjoyable and interesting, ordered off of baristas recommendation.

Small waffle was great with coffee!

Egg and bacon English muffin was simple but enjoyable, the english muffin was the right kind of fluffy.

Bathroom has nice toilet paper and nice soap (silly detail…but shows the attention to details!)

Overall: great coffee shop experience with good coffee, good environment, doesn’t feel like its being run by angsty teenagers trying to prove something.

While I didn’t get food, I DID have the House espresso…. Perfect!
Staff was friendly, helpful (currently in a sling) and the music was just what I was for.

Top 3 cup of coffee I’ve ever had. The Ten Speed, Colombian beans blew me away. Best coffee from Colombia I have ever had. Hard to find a coffee shop that does pour over this well. Very friendly and overall unforgettable experience.

Great coffee. You won’t be disappointed! Company started a number of years back with the owner delivering his coffee via bike. Cool to hear the story and see how that developed into the shop they have now. Attractive, relaxing space!
