My mom and I decided to stop in today. And this place was amazing! The music was great and the atmosphere was perfect! So relaxing and welcoming, we didn’t want to leave!

My wife and I stop here often before work! The owner and staff are wonderful, know our regular orders, and make a great coffee. Lots of creative flavor options, and of course traditional espresso drinks, tea, at least one fun kids steamed milk option without coffee. The best spot to get a coffee anywhere in the Florence area!
Beans offered to go from great roasters in the region, like Deeper Roots (Cincinnati), One Line (Columbus), and occasionally some from Tinker (Indianapolis) and Hatchet (North Carolina).

The owner of this shop treats each customer like a friend and goes out of his way to make sure you have what you need including the right strength of coffee – if you’re a coffee lover and require high quality coffee to live life 🙂 this is a must stop !
I go must days and always get really good service and kindness!! – will miss it when I leave – was visiting for 5 week and so glad I found velocity – also a great place to sit and work or hang out with friends

Great environment, delicious coffee, unique seasonal flavors, and friendly staff. Found my new spot! They typically try to have one gluten free snack available which I appreciate immensely. Today they had fruity pebble krispy and I got the monster mash iced latte (tasted like cereal!)

The pour over coffee could have been a smidge stronger, but I’m fussy that way. The decor and atmosphere was eclectic and warm, the vibe was lively with lots of young people chatting and working. I wish we could have stayed for awhile, but we had miles to go.

I absolutely loved my visit to Velocity Bike & Bean—it’s such a unique and welcoming spot! And more affordable than other popular coffee shops.
The coffee and atmosphere were fantastic, but the service truly elevated the entire experience.
A special shout-out to Dakota, who was patient, knowledgeable, and incredibly friendly. From the moment I walked in, he was a pleasure to interact with. Dakota didn’t just take my order; he gave me all the information I needed, including the Wi-Fi password, excellent recommendations, and great insights into the shop’s atmosphere, all delivered with a genuine smile.
He is the epitome of great customer service and hospitality. Velocity has definitely earned a new regular! Highly, highly recommend stopping by.
My only comment is that I don’t love that the menu did not have prices and I needed to ask “how much stuff cost” before I was ready to order because I was on a budget.

Absolutely my favorite place to sit and grab coffee locally! The coffee and service are amazing and the environment is so fun. They’re calm on the week days and buzzing on Saturdays. They still get through the line

Fantastic! Tuesday/9:30AM. Great service with Faith who helped me pick a drink perfect and fast latte made by the hardworking team and a wonderful blueberry muffin. Comfortable seating, I like the playlist and the vibe! New to town & this is my favorite spot!!

They have really good baked goods for a quick snack and I love their monthly coffee themes. Today (2/20), I got “love story” which is a part of their monthly coffee menu and it was delicious!
