Attended yesterday. Terribly slow service. Took an hour for starters to come out – which weren’t warm, then ages for the main. Food was average at best. Very disappointed

I enjoyed the peaceful environment of this place. It allows you to enjoy conversations without too much noise. The dishes were flavorful and nicely cooked. Service was friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable dining experience.

Fantastic curries at this restaurant. The service was fantastic too. We had chicken and a curry sauce, a fish curry, and peshwari naan too. This restaurant is closed on Mondays. We will be back on Tuesday.

This is the 3rd time over the last 3 years that I/we have visited this awesome establishment.
Every person in our group of 8 said the food was simply amazing. Authentic Indian cuisine with very accommodating and helpful staff. I had a samosa which was frankly the best I’ve ever tasted anywhere.
It’s very popular so make sure you book in advance.

Great place to have a really good Indian meal. They serve King Cobra, which I love, but they ran out of it before we had finished.
Some dishes weren’t available, which for TT fortnight I thought was a bit messed up, but all in all a very good place.

My wife and I ate at Vellika’s 4 times during the TT this year, twice with friends. We couldn’t fault the food, it was some of the best Indian food we have had in a long time. Great service and being really picky the beer selection would be better if they offered large bottles of Kingfisher or Cobra. The price for beer was high for small bottles. However, we are looking forward to our next visit.
