I have lived in Jonesborough for 15 years and never stopped there, always thinking ” one day”
Friday we stopped and had a late Lunch.
To my surprise I had stumbled on what is to be my new favorite Mexican Treat.
Freshness of the food, the well rounded seasonings and all around deliciousness have impressed me, like not many restaurants can.
As a matter of fact, we came back Saturday, just to check if we were right. And we were absolutely right.
Thank you for a great meal.

Recently moved to Jonesborough, TN. I’m a Tri-Cities Native. I was so impressed with the atmosphere and overall experience of this establishment. They had fresh real roses adorning every table. I thought that brought a very uplifting, vibrant vibe to my dining experience. We each got something different. Including a Steak Quesadilla, Steak Gordita and Fish Taco. The Beer was ice cold and I’m told delicious. The amount of Queso Sauce brought to the table rectified the price. I give it a 10/10. Our waitress was very kind and attentive. If you’re passing through or just another local, you don’t want to miss this hidden gem.

Those are first time at this restaurant saw it driving by from Greenville on our way to Johnson City. I’m visiting my mom from Texas and read all of the great reviews and others from Texas have actually been here too! It was a great experience this is a family owned restaurant with excellent quality. Thank you Sally for making our experience so wonderful and even helping my mom find her cell phone that she left! 5 stars!

Roberto was so wonderful! Very friendly and attentive! Tried the Gorditas for the first time and loved them. Roberto recommended the 5 milk cake for dessert and now I will have to order it every time! We’ve eaten here multiple times and the food and service is always really good yet this was our favorite visit so far!

This restaurant has got super quality food! I always get the Pollo Lucas. The chicken is always so tender! I used to eat at Amigos, but found the quality and taste of food is so much better here! A lot of restaurants are sacrificing quality to save money, but these folks are smart and knew better than to do that. I would rather pay more and have a quality meal!

I came in for my lunch break and ordered a cheese dip and a guacamole dip and my total was over $15 and when I got back to my work to eat my ‘lunch’ I had less than a ladle spoonful of cheese dip and a small amount of guacamole. Had I known that this was their ‘measurements’ I would not have wasted my time nor money going here. I’ve never had such poor service at a restaurant. I spoke with the ‘manager’ and she said bring it back and I will weigh it out for you..I declined as I was on my lunch break. And she said hold on and then came back on phone and said yeah it’s 4 oz and they measured it…I will NOT be back and they were not the least bit concerned.
