I had a soyrizo and potato taco, and it was both affordable and divine.

It was seriously the best authentic taco I’ve ever had, vegan or otherwise. Fast and kind service, pleasant seating, definitely a new favorite!

Ordered through Doordash and just didn’t like it. First disappointment was the guacamole and chips. They didn’t look at all like the picture. The chips were strips and fried too long. The guac was that blended watery stuff you can buy at the grocery store that makes you wonder if there’s even any avocados in it–not the fresh-made guac pictured and that I expect from a restaurant.

The burritos and tacos were just OK. I also ordered rice and beans and thought at least those have to be good, but nope. Rice was flavorless and the refried beans were just weird. The beans seemed like they were reconstituted from bean powder or something. Strange texture and way too salty. Almost everything was too salty actually.

Update: I tried to order the pozole, and informed them of my mushroom, and peanut allergy. My order was denied. I then tried to order the same thing I had last time, and was fine- my order was denied again. I really wanted something from this place tonight. I am sincerely disappointed, my orders were denied with zero explanation. So I guess I won’t be trying the pozole, and maybe I won’t be allowed to order here again. I would like to. I am quite confused as to what the actual problem is.
I have not eaten at the actual location yet, but the food I had delivered was fantastico! The photo doesn’t do justice to the quality of food! My proverbial hat’s off to #veganomexicano super delicisioso!!
It’s just good Mexican food! This is the Chile Relleno I ordered, stuffed with picadillo, it’s GF too.I have been dying, to have a vegan GF Chile relleno too, so thanks to them for having it available. Also gotta say, out of all the places I have had Mexican style rice, they are the only ones who actually make it properly (top tier)! Not to say others are bad, just one bite of their rice made me think- THIS is how it’s done! Also appreciate reasonable prices, and portions on pico de gallo, and hot sauce! I can’t wait to try their pozole!

For Celiac people only: I called them to ask about safety protocols for people who have Celiac/what they do to make sure the gluten free food doesn’t come into contact with other things containing gluten in the kitchen and the person who answered repeatedly told me he had no idea what I was talking about. I asked if there was someone else there who might know and he said maybe if I called back in 45 minutes.

That made me scared so I didn’t order anything ☹️ Sad that they apparently don’t train their staff on gluten free protocols because I would have liked to eat here.

HUGE wet mole burrito was absolutely delicious, I devoured the whole thing. Outdoor seating vibe is relaxed and no fuss. Very large menu, many vegan options to choose from.

Finally made the time to have an excellent lunch plate filled with joy! I had the Enmolada and the mole was superb! I added an asada protein to enhance it. Together with a delicious Horchata, I was happy! As a longtime vegan Chicano, this is by far the best Mexican comida in PDX hands down! I plan to definitely return!

The one time I was able to get food here was amazing! Truly delicious.

I’ve tried to go twice more but found the establishment closed despite the hours saying they should be open. I’ve tried calling to confirm the hours of operation several times the past few weeks but haven’t been able to get ahold of anyone. No one answers the phone.

Would love to know if this place is still open!

Champurrado was good but that’s about it. My burrito had nearly raw potatoes and beans inside. Won’t be ordering from here again. Rooting for them to do better. Place looks cute and we need more vegan options!

trying to find a good red vegetarian pozole can be a pain, esp in portland, but it was my first time ordering and i was so impressed. absolutely perfect soup and seasoning and my only regret was not having a big tummy to eat it all in one sitting. i will be back and can’t recommend the pozole enough
