My family and I are from VA but we are vacationing in the desert SW region. On a road trip from Vegas to San Diego we googled vegan restaurants along our route, and Vegan Vatoz came up. Seemed convenient so we decided to give it a try. So glad we did! The asada burrito I got was amazing, and big enough that I’m saving some for later. The whole family was very happy. Only problem is we didn’t realize it was a food truck (on a Thursday) and we were anticipating a bathroom break when we arrived after hours of driving. Doh! Thankfully a nearby business shared their facilities. 🙂 Sure wish we had this place back home!

Yummy Our family loves supporting vegan restaurants. We have tried so many items from their menu and everything is delicious. We ordered tacos for a family celebration and even my non vegan family members loved them saying you’d never know the tacos were vegan, super tasty. Friday taco special is worth it, try them, you won’t be disappointed.

The hospitality and the atmosphere was great. I feel cheated because they sold me a $12 drink and it was 95% ice. I finished it in 3 sips from the straw!! Their “the best breakfast burrito I’ve ever had” is definitely one of the worst and greasiest and least flavorful burritos I’ve ever had. I don’t think they put on the extra potatoes I asked for as well. I will never go back to this vegan spot. Please stop ripping off your customers. It’s about the animals, not your wallet. smh

My wife and i were looking for a new vegetarian place and WOW we found Vegan Vatos. This place was great .. Super friendly and a great variety of vegetarian Mexican food. If your feeling adventurous give this place a shot you won’t regret it. I am not a vegetarian but my wife is and I got the Asada burrito and was very very satisfied and full after eating. Great place. We will be returning soon.

Sooooo we do not have many vegan options in this area. This place has been heaven sent. Nothing is bad here. All so good. My favorite are their fish tacos. Soooo yummy but even my husband, who is not vegan loves coming here. Send them your business!!! They are more than worth keeping around!!!

Love this place ! I’ve tried almost everything on their menu, minus the kids menu and breakfast items. I would definitely recommend anything with Asada or chorizo! The asada super nachos were sooooo delicious! It genuinely made me happy my whole ride home! I’m so grateful for a vegan friendly location in the area! Their staff is always friendly. One thing I wish they had is horchata but for now I’ll keep enjoying their delicious food.

Considering they offer cleaner ingredients & variety of protein options for all sorts of dietary restrictions such as wheat free protein, soy free, & gluten free—they absolutely kill it every time!
