Vegan Deli, you hold a space near and dear to my heart.
I have been twice within the past 3 months and it is a MUST stop anytime I visit New York. The split menu has options for everyone and there are many grab-and-go items, so you will find something for any craving.
On one visit, I was coming straight off a long travel day at 2AM and still had the energy to travel 30mins to Vegan Deli. I was pleasantly surprised to find something quick and filling so late at night. The staff has also been so friendly and kind each time I visit!

A-Z Vegan
A little misleading as you might assume the whole deli is vegan from the signage and name, but unfortunately this isn’t the case as the business also runs an omnivorous menu alongside a vegan one.
That said, this is an excellent choice if you crave deli food but need a plant-based option. We grabbed:
-The Crunch Wrap
-Sausage, Bacon, Egg and Cheese Hero
We were impressed with the quality considering how quickly it was prepared. The Crunch Wrap especially scratched that Taco Bell itch I’ve had since switching to veganism, and I recommend it to anyone who’s missing that signature taste.

This place is the best! Been coming for years the staff is always friendly, the vegan sandwiches are excellent and it’s my go to for açaí bowls! They also have a full non vegan deli menu

This place is not vegan, they have vegan options and I wonder if they cook everything on the same grill because I couldn’t see but got sick after eating my sandwich.
The staff was nice and I appreciate a plethora of vegan food options on the menu but I ordered the vegan chicken sandwich which comes with fruit and it wasn’t great. The sandwich had no flavor, not crispy and too greasy. The fries were terrible and soft, no salt either.
I wouldn’t go back.

Vegan chopped cheese is a knock out after a night out. Love that it comes with fries. Ask about their spicy mayo that is also very good on the side.

THIS IS NOT A VEGAN DELI. EXTREMELY MISLEADING. Should have read the reviews before going all the way there, I am so annoyed. All you can see when you go in there is meat, shrimp, ice cream and I asked if it was vegan and he said no. So why the hell do you have a big sign that literally says vegan deli outside when there isn’t even vegan deli meat? So mad.
