Its actually asian favorites, all veganized, and done VERY well. Vietnamese spring rolls, Japanese udons, Tawainese bobas. There’s bahnmis and ramen stirfrys and plenty of ‘different’ proteins to pair with white/brown rice. The only thing missing is some sushi =D
My shrimp spring rolls with peanut sauce & my udon soup tasted fantastic, despite being a veggie broth. Paired with my unsweetened jasmine tea for a perfect meal.
Basically you can have any of your guilt-y asian takeout pleasures and eat them here guilt-free, while still tasting somewhat legit. SLC Menu website says bringing back a reusable container gives you a small discount on your order? Good for me and for the planet.
I’ve been coming to Vegan Bowl for years with my training partners after hard martial arts sessions, and it’s easily one of the best post-workout spots around. The food is filling, flavorful, and surprisingly satisfying for someone like me who normally avoids anything labeled “vegan.”
The ingredients are fresh, the portions are solid, and the staff is always friendly. If you’re looking for great vegan bowls, plant-based meals, or a healthy lunch option in the area, this place is a gem.
Even if you’re not into vegan food (like me), give it a shot — you might end up loving it.
The chicken egg rolls were piping hot, crispy. And delicious. The peanut sauce and hot pepper sauce that came with the were on point. The bbq beef rice bowl was my favorite! The lemongrass pho soup was so good. Especially when you add spicy pepper sauce. The ham noodles were perfectly cooked and tasted delicious. The flan was great, and so were the BBQ veggie rice wraps.
Definitely give this place a try, vegan or not, it was FIRE!
i ordered the tofu pho, the veggie egg rolls and the five spices tofu banh mi. the veggie egg rolls were excellent, great flavor inside the accompanying sweet chili sauce was really good. the pho was a big portion and had lots of items but the pho broth was ok so overall the flavor was ok. the banh mi was average at best because the tofu became really chewy and didn’t have good flavor.
overall good portion size and decent flavor for some menu times
Service is prompt and friendly – restaurant is very clean and free of clutter.
