To make matters worse, the place lacked any real customer service. Staff seemed disengaged and uninterested, and there was no sense of hospitality or care. Between the poor food, the unpleasant odor, and the lack of service, the entire visit felt like a waste, to think we ended up here because of a clip I saw on tik-tok just filled with deception. They served me vegetables that looked old, lettuce that looked somewhat black, food quality overall was disappointing.
I definitely won’t be returning, and I can’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a decent dining experience
The cafe is VERY spacious. It opens very early and serves all-day breakfast. The omelette and pasta are my favorite. Coffee is very good too! Their food is as good as their original location on W Adams. Totally recommend!
Unfortunately no free parking. I got there by Dash F and walked 2 streets. Or Dash A that stops right in front and you cross the street to find the cafe. Restroom is outside (turn right and turn right again). You need a key from the cashier.
To make matters worse, the coffees we received were not even what we ordered. The total bill came to $40 for practically nothing, which is outrageous for such poor service and lack of care.
This cafe clearly has no respect for customers’ time or money. I would strongly recommend avoiding Vees Cafe in downtown Los Angeles.
The restaurant area is nice with indoor & outdoor seating.
The staff were helpful and kind.
Food was great.
My only issue with the place is that parking is a little out of the way and so is the bathroom. Neither of those things really detract from the quality of the restaurant.
