When you arrive, there is a homestyle feel to the atmosphere. The waitresses are friendly and can assist you in whatever you need. Then, they bring out complimentary salsa that has a lot of zing to it with a phenomenal flavor. The menus are crystal clear about what you’re getting and the price. Once you order, the food is out quicker than you’re used to and it is hot enough to eat, but not hot enough to burn yourself. I had the barbacoa plate and it came with 4 tortillas, just enough to make 4 tacos. The perfect meal. Better than San Diego Mexican food.

I called the restaurant to ask until what time I could pick up some chilaquiles. The person who answered told me I could come until 4:00 PM. I called at 3:00 PM and even mentioned that I was coming from the south, but that I would be there by 4:00 PM. I asked if I could place the order at 3:40 so the chilaquiles wouldn’t get soggy, and she said yes.Since it was Sunday and most places close at 4:00 PM, I chose this restaurant because it was recommended to me. I called again at 3:50 PM to let them know I would arrive in about five minutes, but the person who answered said they never made my order because the cooks had left at 3:30 PM.If she had told me “we can’t take the order,” I would have called somewhere else. If they don’t actually stay open until 4:00 PM, they should update their hours on Google, or at least not take orders they can’t fulfill.

Service and atmosphere absolutely fit this restaurant so well. Very upbeat service and traditional Mexican atmosphere! It may have been the day(Tuesday) but any time I order tacos I expect lime and salsas included without asking. Tacos were good, not too salty, but unfortunately were a little dry. The barbacoa was spot on though! A great balance of flavor and texture, not too fatty and definitely not dry!

I heard about this restaurant from a good friend and I was driving through town so I figured I’d stop by and try it out. It was definitely worth the stop! The food was amazing and the service was excellent! Everyone was so kind and welcoming! I’ll definitely stop by and visit again. Happy New Year’s!!

Can confirm that their breakfast tacos are great. Ordered 2 bacon, potato & cheese and 2 steak egg & cheese and they were LOADED with ingredients, and clearly freshly cooked & chopped bacon which is always appreciated.
Be sure if ordering to go though to ask for salsa because it seems it doesn’t come already in the bag because their red salsa is amazing; on the more runny side but has great flavor and juuust the right level of heat.
