Spent the weekend in Hot Springs for our 7th anniversary. Saturday, decided to go into town to explore. There is still so much devastation from hurricane Helene! The town of Hot Springs is reshaping nicely after such a hard hit. We wandered into Provision’s and met Sarah one of the owners. The store was being put back together beautifully and we even had lunch and purchased some gifts for Christmas. Sarah has a beautiful cabinet full of salvaged memorabilia from hurricane Helene, how absolutely devastating. The most heart breaking thing I saw was a time lapsed photo collage on the wall before, during, and after the massive storm stomped on this tiny town. The heaviness of it all was unbelievable. Sometimes beauty comes from really sad situations and the goodness of people when they come together and pour their heart and soul into rebuilding is amazing. We hope to return to Hot Springs this next summer and continue to contribute to the Hot Springs economy. To Sarah and her husband and to all who live and work in the Hot Springs, NC community – Thank you for loving Hot Springs and for your resilience♥️

One of the best spots in Hot Springs and by far the best lox and cream cheese bagel in the world. I have had hundreds and this one takes it. They mixed the cream cheese with onion and capers then top the cream cheese with lox that is sliced and garnished.
Everything else on the menu is out of this world good and the store has everything you need to make a nice dinner. Btw, if you are into fly fishing, check out the shop in the back!

We went in for lunch and we’re welcomed by the delicious scent of fresh baked crab cakes. I ordered them because I could not leave without trying them! Delicious, fresh, and full of crab not filler! While you are waiting for the food to be ready take a look at all of their special items, they have a great selection of specialty items and natural as well!

Such a delicious surprise dining experience! I originally had planned to eat across the street, but that restaurant was closed, which led me to this incredible place. The frittata, roasted beets and carrot cake were AMAZING. I even tried a bite of my friends sandwich melt which was just mouth watering. It’s only been a few days since I discovered this spot and I’m craving more!!!

Vaste Rivière is open and serving a delicious menu – we went for brunch and got the macarons, mimosas, and a breakfast burrito. All were delicious! They’re in a temporary spot around the corner due to damage from Hurricane Helene – follow the signs advertising good food and drinks and you’re in for a treat!

I took a drive up to hot springs to clear my head of some things going on. I’ve never been here and decided to stop in for a beer before heading back to Asheville. The staff is very friendly. The food is delicious and the beer selection is decent. I very much enjoyed my time here and will be coming back wether it be with friends or by myself to do some thinking. The back patio was secluded while still being able to hold a good amount of people. Next time you’re In hot springs go ahead and stop in for a beer or food and take a look inside the shop area. I’m sure you’ll see something you want

Do you enjoy the finer things in life? Artisanal cured meats, thoughtfully selected tipple, flavor-bomb sandos, delightful pantry provisions, and the finest conservas collection I’ve seen this side of the Atlantic await you at Vaste Riviere!
Perfect to stop in for treats for your soak at the Spa; refilling your pack with a proper splurge while on the trail; or outfitting your campsite/cabin with some next level food and bevs.
I did not expect to find such a fine array of specialty foods in Hot Springs. This place is a foodie’s dream!

A delicious place to eat with friendly hard-working staff, and the best part- super healthy options (!!!) which is hard to find outside of Asheville. I tweaked a gyro to use gluten free bread and it was mouth watering! I will definitely be back when in the area!
