The seafood marinara is a standout—generously portioned, with tender shrimp, mussels, clams, and calamari in a vibrant tomato sauce. For dessert, we tried the galaktoboureko, baklava, and cannoli—all of them excellent. The galaktoboureko in particular was rich, custardy, and perfectly crisp on the outside.

Boutique greek restaurant. Amazing dishes with rotating specials. All the food is great and very beautiful. I had the Greek shrimp over pasta and we shared a Saganaki. Would definitely recommend. If dining during core dinner hours, recommend a reservation as the indoor space is less than 20 tables.

The food here was delicious. The location is easy to miss since it looks like a house ina residential neighborhood. The outside presentation looks like a perfect little cafe. The inside is elegant and romantic if you want it with classy silverware setup and cups.
The wait staff was incredibly nice and patient. The food came out quickly, looked and tasted great. Even the presentation was thoughtful on how the dish was arranged. Highly recommend sitting outside if it’s nice out and feel the breeze.

Another birthday treated at a restaurant I picked. It’s been a while since we ate at Vaso’s Kitchen, and I had forgotten what a delightful place it was. Very bright and cheerful. There are tables outdoors, but it was fairly hot that day, so we opted to sit indoors.
For appetizers, we ordered one Saganaki, a cheese that is set on fire when they bring it to your table. The three of us shared the dish, along with a nice basket of bread. The cheese was yummy.
For mains, I ordered the Lamb Kapama, a braised lamb in a red sauce over a bed of pasta. The lamb was soft and succulent and falling off the bone. Portions were generous and I took half of it home. My friends ordered an Avocado Salad stuffed with Crab Meat and the Gyro Pita Sandwich with Fries. They loved their dishes and made me promise to give a good review.
For dessert, we shared a traditional Greek dish the Galatoboureko, pastry filled with liqueur based orange custard. Omg, I love this dessert!
Overall, a great meal and a very nice birthday celebration! Two thumbs up.

Adorable decor, friendly and attentive staff, with great service! All the food we ordered was delicious and came out in a timely manner. Presentation of all food and drink was great! We can’t wait to come back and bring family and friends! We recommend this place – it was an overall great dinning experience!

Was going to eat in downtown DC, but parking sucks. Found this place on Google search and decided to take the 30 minute drive to try it. From the minute we walked in, they made us feel like we were long time customers. As an added bonus, we had some AMAZING food! This place is well worth the drive. I will definitely eat here again the next time I’m in the area. I had the gyro platter, the meat was tender and delicious. The tzatziki sauce was incredible. Wife had chicken Margherita and it was excellent. The lamb was super, and if you don’t have the baklava, you are absolutely missing out on a piece of heaven.

Food is good in this unassuming restaurant; service is great. I was able to get parked on the street but am not sure if there’s other parking. It’s a comfortable setting with a focus on the customer. I think the one thing that would be a little better is more variety on the menu, but the food is delicious. I had chicken ala Francaise. My wife raved about her branzini fish. And my son had the bifteki.

An amazing family run restaurant with incredible food! It was a lovely evening to sit outside and the ambiance was perfect. Jasell, our server, was awesome! She was so sweet and accomodated every request. The food was terrific! I had a shrimp pasta dish that was a culinary delight. Hubby had the flounder stuffed with crab and thoroughly enjoyed it. You must try the crab stuffed mushrooms, they are to die for! The feta and spinach stuffed mushrooms are also a good option. The lamb shank dish was very much enjoyed by others in our party. Every dish was meticulously prepared to perfection. And do not forget the tiramisu, it was absolutely divine! And the expresso was a perfect complement. I can’t say enough about this hidden gem. Most definitely recommend!
