Nice local brewery with great vibes and a very cool staff. The waitress and coffee guy both had in depth history on the building and it’s decor.
Porter and Stout is good but Cider is where it’s at. On point with that stuff. the place is big with a lot of open space to accommodate larger groups. They have
pinball machines, a pool table, and flat screen TVs— something for everyone.

This restaurant was a fantastic choice for our family of five, especially with a couple of gluten-free eaters in the group. We’re always on the hunt for a place that makes *everyone* happy, and this one absolutely delivered. Great food, lots of gluten-free options including drink options (Gluten-Free fried chicken tenders gluten-free flat Bread YEEEs please, cider was also on-point), plus fun extras like pinball machines, a pool table, and flat screen TVs—it had something for all of us.
The only reason I’m not giving five stars is the service. The staff wasn’t unfriendly, just not as warm or energetic as I would’ve hoped. A little more spunk would have matched the fun vibe of the place.
Still, it’s a solid spot, and we’d definitely go back!

Ordered the cheesy bread, supremo pizza and chicken tenders. My mom and I both loved everything and didn’t get sick. They were very understanding about gluten and took our allergy seriously. Our server was Stella and she took good care of us. Highly recommend the place and we will be going back. They also have a dedicated fryer so you can eat fries if you are celiac. They even had dessert options but we were full and decided on next time for dessert.

Middlecoast Brewing Company is in a great location with plenty of paid parking options nearby, making it convenient to visit. The atmosphere is fantastic—inviting, vibrant, and perfect for relaxing with friends. The staff are friendly and attentive, adding to the positive experience.
As for the beer, it was just okay. While the selection is decent, the flavors didn’t particularly stand out compared to other breweries. However, the overall vibe and service make it worth a visit, especially if you’re in the area and looking for a comfortable spot to hang out.
Would recommend for the atmosphere and service, but beer enthusiasts might not be blown away.

We started eating our food before the pictures were taken, which is why it looks small lol. Absolutely delicious and fantastic!! I am excited to come back! The pickles were super hot and tart. The spicy chicken sandwich had the perfect amount of spice. The burger was cooked perfect and juicy. The sweet potato tots were perfect. And the beer flight was amazing (I got mostly seltzer and they were DELICIOUS) 10/10 recommend!!

It’s worth your salt to visit MiddleCoast Brewing. That’s especially during mid-afternoon when you and your friends can kick back and visit without having to talk over the noise of the crowd. The beer is plenty good. The food is its equal. Chuck does more than whip up tasty nosh; he cooks it up with pride. That was apparent when we asked him about his BBQ shareables. Chuck didn’t just list the accompanying sauces. He hustled back to the kitchen, brought out a selection in one-ounce cups, and urged us to sample them.
That’s when we realized something: the key at MiddleCoast is to keep it simple. Get the Chicken Tenders with whiskey ginger sauce. Sure, tenders are standard bar fare, but Chuck’s are a cut above! They’re particularly good when paired with a malty-smooth Old Toad English Ale. Or have the Chicken Wings with hot honey sauce. These’ll set off a little volcano in your mouth. Which is why a State Street Easy pilsner may be needed to cool yourself down.

This place is Awesome! So much history in this building and the atmosphere is great! We started off with the fried pickles and they were delicious. I had the burger and my girlfriend had the chicken wrap. Both dishes were solid! My burger had so much flavor and was very fresh. The pickles and lettuce tasted like they came straight from a garden. The wrap was fresh and tasty as well. The only gripe was the lack of ranch on the wrap. The sweet potato fries could use some flavor as well. Overall the food was tremendous. The Brews are very tasty as well. I’ve had the Pen Hopper and the Gitche Gumee. Both beers were super tasty. Nice and hoppy with a hint of fruit. Well worth it! I highly recommend this brewery to anyone in town. Very family oriented as well! They have inside and outside seating. There is also a view of all the brewing equipment which was an awesome touch. Overall we had a great time!

We had our wedding rehearsal dinner here this past weekend and everything exceeded my expectations! The set up & service was above & beyond. The cost for having part of the venue and feeding ~40 people was very reasonable! Would definitely recommend an event here or just popping by for a visit!
