my absolute FAVORITE bar in Lakeland! Everything on the menu is so well crafted (the espresso martini is my personal favorite) and the service is impeccable. Vibes are great and the rooftop has a beautiful view of the park/downtown. Shoutout to Joe and all the other bartenders who always go above and beyond!

Stopped in from Orlando and was blown away by how phenomenal the service, drink options and atmosphere was. The staff helped to me to make my drink choices and the views! I got to try some drink recipes I wasn’t familiar with and the serving staff was very friendly and fun.
If you don’t care for wait times or prefer a more laid back experience, I recommend getting here around 4pm/6pm, the staff has much more time to interact and accommodate. I can see this place getting packed and the priority becomes getting orders out, over all a very professional staff.
This is very comparable to the higher end experiences in Orlando and I will absolutely be back.

Small, but comfortable rooftop area. Nice vibe. It was Valentine’s Day, and crowded, so I will assume that’s why the service was not at its best. Our drinks were delayed and we had to remind staff about our requests several times.
Most of the menu were shareable size. It would have been great if more choices were available. However, the food we ordered was tasty. (Try the calamari with caramel and pepper sauce.)
Would recommend.

Our first visit was on Valentine’s Day. We decided to go out pretty last minute, so we were unable to get reservations at the restaurant. There is an entrance to the left hand side of the entrance to 1961. We didn’t notice it, but the restaurant hosts pointed it out. That entrance leads to a hallway with a hostess and elevator. When you enter the bar at the top of the elevator, there is no hostess and you seat yourself. Just a couple of observations (not complaints)…There is no sign stating to seat yourself so we waited until we saw a server to ask. I did not see a way to make reservations online for the bar, but saw reserved signs on tables.
We arrived around 5, and there were still several seats/tables outside, seating inside was limited. We wanted to sit outside, so it was fine with us. The weather was gorgeous that night and provided the perfect natural touch to the atmosphere of the venue. There was music playing, but it wasn’t too loud.
All of the food we tried was delicious! We both enjoyed the sliders, truffle/parm fries, and the best churros I’ve ever had! We even had a second round of sliders and fries. The drinks we tried were the fig Manhattan and the Whistle Pig. Both drinks were great. Prices were what I was expecting for an upscale bar experience.
We saw many people come out and leave when they saw that it was standing room only. When we left, there appeared to be people waiting for seats. We were never made to feel rushed, which was very much appreciated. For as busy as they were, the servers were great.
Overall, it was the perfect night out for us, and we will return.

We got the duck breast first time trying duck and I must say it was amazing Alice smoky favorite and the that it can in was delicious, we also got the mixed ceviche which was also very tasty it could of came with more chips but overall very good. We will definitely be back and make recommendations to others.

Great Dj both nights I stopped by after dinner. The playlist was really good. The hospitality is superb and everyone there makes sure you are very well taken care off. You don’t have to wait for a while to order your drink. There was an instance that I left my sunglasses the night before and they were kind enough to find them and return them to me the next day. The atmosphere is very sheer and chill from the inside to the outside.

This rooftop bar has a great vibe and some good drinks. Had a No Mames margarita, pretty tasty peach variant margarita. Had a Pisco sour round, can’t go wrong with a good sour. The staff was attentive and friendly, the bartenders had good presentation. The view is cool, definitely a place you take a date out or a special occasion. Would recommend if you are in the Lakeland area.

Vascos truly exceeded our expectations! We chose to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful weather when the friendly manager, Joe, approached us. He took the time to listen to our palate preferences and offered fantastic recommendations—and they did not disappoint!
The dates appetizer was absolutely delicious, as were the “gambas al ajillo” and “patatas bravas”. Each dish was packed with incredible flavor. We paired our meal with an Estrella Galicia draft beer and a coconut mojito; which was the perfect complement. To top it all off, dessert was just as delightful!
Beyond the amazing food, what really stood out was the exceptional service. Joe treated us with genuine respect and made us feel highly valued as customers. It was an all-around fantastic experience, and we can’t wait to return! Highly recommend!

I have nothing but positive thoughts about this place. All of the servers were very attentive and made sure we were taken care of, especially our sever Audrey(I hope im spelling it right). We’re visiting down from Pennsylvania and the visit here is definitely one of the highlights of the trip thanks to her and fellow servers. 1000% would come back again when we visit and would recommend.
