I recently ordered a smoothie and noticed it had an unusual taste. I understand that fresh fruit can naturally vary in flavor, especially compared to smoothies with added sugars or preservatives. However, I typically enjoy smoothies made with only fresh fruit and honey, so I’m familiar with how they usually taste. This particular smoothie had a flavor that seemed a bit off. I even had my sister try it, and she noticed the same unusual taste. I wanted to share this feedback in case there was an issue with one of the ingredients. So I tried a new location after working out. I assumed the drinks would be the same. Not the case. I had a lemon ginger honey and it was a bitter beverage. When I had it at another location quite the opposite which is why I enjoyed it so much previously. The young man went above a beyond for a customer ahead of me but offer no additional anything. Didn’t mention any specials, add-ons just flat demeanor even with a 15% tip that was given at purchase. I won’t be going back to this location. They lack customer engagement and quality product that I know the franchise offers. Not all VARA Juice locations are created equal.
