Welcome to Vanessa’s Kitchen. We have the Freshest Seafood and Steaks in town. Everything is made from scratch, nothing is frozen, and every steak is hand cut by Vanessa herself. So come on down and check us out. We are in the bottom floor of the building. Use the concrete steps on the right side of the main entrance to the Seneca Center.

Cozy and quiet with delicious food! Great service! We had a reservation and would recommend getting one! They don’t have a liquor license (at this time). Bring your own wine and they will provide the glasses. Appetizers were great. We went with the focaccia bread and calamari. For dinner we had the seared tuna steak (perfectly done), crab cakes with basil sauce (fantastic) and the halibut (scrumptious). We enjoyed everything!

So delicious we ate here twice in one week! Definitely our go-to restaurant when going out to eat. Vanessa and Jay go above and beyond every time we visit. Food is top notch, FRESH, filling, and has sooo much flavor. The service is always great, and the staff is so friendly! My go to is the Rainbow Trout stuffed with goat cheese and figs, with a crab cake as an app. I also recommend getting a side of smashed potatoes, loaded up! The best I have ever had. We absolutely love coming here!

We have eaten here several times and enjoy thier food so much! Their half a wedge salad is the best we have ever eaten, the homemade blue cheese dressing is superb. The rueben, burger, and crab cakes were delicious as well. Service is excellent. We will definitely go there again!

I’ve eaten here three times and every time the food is great. The clams with focaccia were in a super delicious buttery garlic sauce. The fig and goat cheese stuffed trout was amazing. The loaded potatoes are super good. The fried chicken thighs are delicious. I am sure everything is good, planning on coming back to try it all. At the moment it’s BYOB which saves on the cost too, so I don’t mind that at all. The staff is very warm and welcoming.

A great dining experience all the way around. Everything is made in house and fresh. High quality seafood and mouth watering steaks. I highly recommend the flame thrower add-on (pictured below). Considering the restaurant is new to the area (hence the lack of reviews but more to come), it was a terrific and well orchestrated experience.

Vanessa’s kitchen is absolutely amazing. My husband and I go there as often as we can. We have never had a dish we haven’t liked. The service is inviting and positive. Last night we went and tried the specials and we’re still talking about it today. I am not a meat eater, and I was asking for more bites of my husband’s dry rubbed ribeye. Genuine hidden gem of Morgantown.

Unique atmosphere and absolutely exceptional menu.
Special consideration given to seafood and the chef’s specials. Service is excellent, perhaps above even what you might expect.
Be aware the price will reflect the quality, but the portions are more than generous. Would be a great choice as a date spot, for your special event or intimate group dinner, or for anyone looking for a high-end dining experience.

A friend of mine told me about this place, and it was worth it
I came here mainly for the Whole Fried Branzino, and it was perfectly cooked. Not many similar options for such seafood here in town.
It was a bit pricey, but I’d be back definitely.
Seating area looks nice.
Staff were super friendly.
