Cool little hole in the wall corner pub. But wait that’s not all lol. Looks may be deceiving. From the outside it may look to some people like an old gas station which it is but once you are on the inside you’ll find that this place is “cool”. First time I had ever been here and I was here with my wife who had never been here before and my mother in law who had but a long time ago. We started outside under where the old gas pumps would have been but makes for a perfect outside eating area, who knew. We ordered the crab dip for an appetizer which wasn’t all that different from other crab dips that I’ve had elsewhere but came with toasted bread pieces and was still very tasty. After we finished this the mother in law and the wife got cold so we moved the party inside and the wait staff told us to pick a table anywhere we’d like. Once seated we received our meals promptly from a nice gentleman employee who I later had a very nice conversation with. The only food that I was able to get pics of was mine due to my co patrons being to hungry to wait lol. The old bay wings were tasty and very crispy “cooked to perfection” and the sweet potato fries I’d say probably the best I’ve ever had. My mother in law got a steak and cheese sub which she said was very good, made to order and so big she could only finish half. My wife had a crab cake which was big and obviously homemade, I stole a piece, it was very meaty and not filled with a bunch of bread like a lot of other restaurants. Before we left I spoke with the gentleman who brought our food and I thought it was and he confirmed that the place was recently remodeled. I also want to mention that they have a very cool looking bar and on the other side of the restaurant. There was also a carry out part of the business and a liquor store as well. I probably won’t be back anytime soon but only because of its location and that we were only in the area by chance anyway. If you ask me though if your in the area and Vanessa’s sounds like it might be your kind of place I’d give it a try. I would also like to add that all employees adhered to the mask rule as well. What to say about VCP……anywhere else this would be a bit of an overpriced hit or miss three star americanish place to get a billion different things, none of which will be spectacular. I live in the area and it’s the ONLY place around. Looking at the prices as supply and demand, it gets the job done. If you come for the specials (not widely published) then you can find some value. Just don’t even try to order a burger medium rare. They are batting about 0.200 with me there. They get an extra star for saving me from 7-11 but it’s no destination.
August 2024 Update:
They must be trying to save money. Tenders are half the size. Pizza has half the toppings. Sausage and pepperoni pizza? One slice of sausage, and 2 slices of pepperoni per pizza slice. Even with it being 5min away…I dont go anymore.

I ordered, told me 15 minutes. Order time was 12:43, Got there at 1:05pm. The order wasn’t ready. Had to wait an additional 15
S minutes before I received my food. My son who in in the hospital, requested the food, so I honored his wish. They said they were waiting on the chicken. Frankly when I ordered It I wasted a few minutes packing up stuff for him so I could just go in and run right out. The service sucks. Sorry I will not be going back. Go to chick-fil-a and their salads are better, cheaper too. Worth the drive.

Came here for lunch with my husband while waiting for our car to be serviced down the road.
Was nervous based on exterior appearances of the building. Looks shabby and a little sketchy. Gave it a chance because it has good reviews. Inside the building it is cute and a nice atmosphere. (Except they had Fox News on the TV – pro or con depending on who you are. I personally didn’t like it.)
Service was pretty good, we didn’t have to wait too long for placing orders or for getting our food.
The food itself was disappointing. First, prices were surprisingly high. We ended up spending $50 for lunch: the smallest size cheese pizza they have, which I think was 14 inches?, and a burger with a side of fries. (Fries or any other side are not included with the burger, it’s an additional cost.) That’s a lot of money for a simple lunch.
The burger was okay. The fries were quite good but portion was very small – smallest portion I’ve seen anywhere. The pizza was just bad. Crust was lacking flavor. The sauce was actually good. The cheese wasn’t enjoyable and there was far too much – I ended up removing most of it and did not eat much.
Maybe their other food is better. & I don’t know about the bar because we were just there for a short while to have lunch, not hang out and drink. I’ll not be returning here. While the food wasn’t so bad as to be totally inedible we didn’t want any leftovers and wouldn’t eat there again even if the prices were cut in half.

As I always say, pubs have the best food. I enjoyed what so far has been the best pasta ever! If you’re used to fast food don’t come here, they take their time to make it right and the staff is amazing. This is a hidden gem. Hopefully I visit Westminster soon and stop by there again.

I’ve been going here since it was J&Ps. The place has been steadily going down hill in quality and service for awhile, but tonight takes the cake! I literally laughed out loud when I saw these. I think they’ve switched to baby new potatoes for the potato skins. They even had to buy baby to go containers for them. Unsurprisingly, they did not switch to baby prices. Hilarious!

Carry out food is great here. They have a separate place for carryout and a dedicated staff to handle it. We got food for a big party and everyone enjoyed their food. Cant complain. Got great beer deals too. will be back!
