If you are from Louisiana, or have ever lived anywhere IN or even near Louisiana, you will be disappointed. If anyone knows the owner, please have them reach out and I will happily share my authentic Cajun etouffee and gumbo recipes with them

To call this Cajun food is disrespectful!!…I got the Louisiana sampler platter and it comes with Gumbo, shrimp creole, and red beans & rice….all three were bland. I’ve never seen gumbo this dry before. I don’t even understand how you can make a dry roux, but they figured it out. The shrimp creole had chunks of bell peppers and onions that were bigger than the actual shrimp. If it wasn’t for me getting my order to go and having to add my own Cajun seasonings to the red bean & rice. I would’ve thrown it away. The andouille sausage in it was diced up to the same size as the red beans…if you’re from anywhere near the gulf coast, stay away from this place

I had the lunch special- Lousiana sampler plate. It had 2 Chili peppers on the menu. Best food in the area! The bread was great! The waiter Brian was fantastic. The bread pudding was fantastic! Don’t forget they sell Sushi on the evening menu!

This was my second visit to this location. The first time, I had the Philly and crawfish bites. Both were delish! This time I decided to order the Philly again, mostly because I don’t eat a lot of seafood very often. Husband got the bone-in ribeye and was disappointed with the lack of seasoning. The steak was also undercooked, but he took it home to doctor up the next day for lunch. The peel and eat shrimp appetizer were perfectly cooked and tasted great. Server seemed distant and lacked eye contact or trying to connect with us at all. We may or may not go back soon to give it another try, based on this experience.

French Market Grill West is easily the best restaurant in the Augusta/Evans area. Every menu item has its own distinctive flavor, the quality is always superb, and it is below market pricing. Also great presentation and great service always.

Tried out the French market location off of Fury’s Ferry for lunch. For my entree I went with the shrimp po boy with a side of chips. The po boy itself was very good. It had a decent amount of shrimp on it, and the home made coleslaw served as a good balance to the battered shrimp. The chips were your typical bagged kettle cooked chips, nothing special. I wish they served the freshly made potato chips like the location in Surrey center. Overall a great visit for lunch, would stop by again.

We enjoyed our meals and appetizer of smoked salmon and duck patte along with endue sausage. For the main courses we enjoyed Crawfish ettufet, grilled shrimp, scalloped seafood, and grilled salmon. Each dish was delicious and well prepared. The wait staff was also very kind.

Cool restaurant! Been on my To-Try list for awhile. I was confused about their closing hours. They apparently close once everyone is done eating so try not to go too late.. I tried crepes Louisiana and it was delicious! Would definitely come here again!

Food is the worse in all of the CSRA. I don’t understand why or how they can ruin food. I am actually offended. By the food. How the hell? I might actually hate this place. I am tempted to Open a restaurant next door just to close their doors and once done I’ll close shop.
