This was my second visit to this location. The first time, I had the Philly and crawfish bites. Both were delish! This time I decided to order the Philly again, mostly because I don’t eat a lot of seafood very often. Husband got the bone-in ribeye and was disappointed with the lack of seasoning. The steak was also undercooked, but he took it home to doctor up the next day for lunch. The peel and eat shrimp appetizer were perfectly cooked and tasted great. Server seemed distant and lacked eye contact or trying to connect with us at all. We may or may not go back soon to give it another try, based on this experience.

Food was tasty. Side salads were bare but at least the lettuce was fresh and crisp. Very little side options. Bread was good and hot. Drinks were nice and strong. Our waiter was attentive.

My wife and I have been eating here for 25 years. We have never been disappointed with food or service. Jim Beck has assembled a professional staff that is second to none. Last night we had gumbo and entrees of catfish. The flavors were amazing and Brian Scruggs always makes our dining experience more enjoyable. He’s amazing at how he can take care of a half dozen tables at once and is on top of everyone’s need. The host, Brian, who generally seats us does a fantastic job of keeping everything moving smoothly. We generally go 4-5 times a month and always look forward to returning. Best bang for your dining buck in the Augusta area. Thanks to everyone who works there.

Shrimp were fried to perfection but lacked spices or creole taste. The hand cut French fries and remoulade sauce were superb. Friendly staff and very clean.

Cool restaurant! Been on my To-Try list for awhile. I was confused about their closing hours. They apparently close once everyone is done eating so try not to go too late.. I tried crepes Louisiana and it was delicious! Would definitely come here again!

I had the lunch special- Lousiana sampler plate. It had 2 Chili peppers on the menu. Best food in the area! The bread was great! The waiter Brian was fantastic. The bread pudding was fantastic! Don’t forget they sell Sushi on the evening menu!

They accommodated all 7 of us with a reservation. Our waitress was attentive to all of our needs. We ordered 2 dozen oysters on the half shell, they were sub par and not cut from the shell on the bottom. 1 person ordered fried shrimp and oyster combo. This used to be a great dish, not anymore, very disappointing. FYI, the house salad is bagged salad. Others at the table ordered the bbq shrimp, still as hot and good as always. The filet was a great choice for 1 and could be cut with a fork, very good quality. 1 person ordered a cup of gumbo, very good. It is still a great choice for lunch or dinner.

Popular neighborhood spot but not great Cajun food. French bread and peel and eat shrimp were good. The sampler platter with red beans and rice and gumbo was bland. Very bland.

Recently met a group of friends here for lunch, it was busy but our Server was very attentive and helpful. My chicken dish was so over cooked it was like chicken-jerky, the salad seemed old and the rice was unpleasant. Left hungry.

This is a decent restaurant to try. The fried fish was seasoned very well!! I wasn’t a huge fan of the rice and beans but again the fish was the winner.
