This place was horrid I went in with my friends and one of them ordered a burger and I ordered chips his burger was all mouldy and my chips had a screw in them I could of gotten seriously injured and my friend sick. Never go here. We didn’t even get a refund.

Does anyone know where we can get FRESH battered cod & chips?… certainly NOT here!
Cod was dry and rubbery, could not have been fresh, batter undercooked, the underside of it was an inedible soggy cakey paste, and the chips weren’t crisp or cooked enough but at least edible. The dog had a good few chips and a good bit of the fish, but I spared him the awful batter. Won’t be going back there.

I have been in this place a few times over many years and found it nice but the garlic chips I got last night were terrible. I threw them out when we came home. the meal we got to take away came to nearly 18 euro. battered sausages and chips also. battered sausages are fine but the chips that they serve in Val’s now are not the chips they served there a few years ago and they just sickened me last night. tasteless and unappetizin I won’t be buying chips here again .
