Lius Kitchen has been producing amazing Chinese food for almost 3 decades. From hanging out there after school to grabbing a quick dinner as an adult- I love the food, the service and the PEOPLE! I cannot stress enough how genuine and awesome this family is. 10/10! Would reccomend to anyone.

I was eating inside the restaurant, and after a few bites I discovered bugs inside the noodles.
It was disgusting and a serious health risk — something that should never happen in any place that respects its customers.
When I spoke to the staff, the response was rude and unprofessional, with no real apology or concern.
I felt disrespected and will never come back.

Patronized this place until the pandemic (couldn’t deal with their craziness) and just tried them today after 2 years. Had the Special Soup…nothing really special when compared to another local Chinese Restaurant, but was very good nonetheless. My wife had the Sweet and Sour chicken and it was not as good as another restaurant in the area. Lastly, had the steamed chicken with mixed vegetables with a supposedly hot garlic sauce, tasty, but not better than a comparable restaurant in the area. It lacked the spicy edge especially any oomph in any added tastiness. Sadly for them, as we used to order here all the time, we were forced to try another local establishment over their insane actions and by doing so, we found a much better alternative. Gave it another try, but it only confirmed that they aren’t doing enough to earn our patronage and are thankful they made us try other local restaurants which serve a superior product. We have moved on….they aren’t awful, but aren’t up to par to the local competition by far.

Chicken taste stale, not fresh, also very little meat. Beef and broccoli was 80% broccoli. We are ordering from this place at least once a week but the food quality is getting worse and worse. They are cutting the wrong corners.

I’ve been going to Beijing and golden East in south River and East Brunswick my whole life, but a few years ago I tried Liu’s and it is easily the best Chinese I’ve had. The chicken and broccoli is the best I’ve had anywhere. Also the service is great, they’ve never messed up an order and the guy that usually takes my order is nice and has a great sense of humor. Prices are also great. Highly recommended

Just ran into them tonight on my way back from work. I love the type of sauce they do for their beef n broccoli. The rice is a little minced but I’m not tack any points just cause of thats.. it’s still very fresh. I’m a chicken noodle soup guy. Start with the broth because you tell right away how it’s gonna go. Broth very tasty. The chicken was fine and honestly the noodles were nice and al dente. I understand it’s not an Italian place but that’s how I like my noodles. Good stuff guys and I’ll be back
