The food came in about 10 minutes, it was fresh, delicious, and filling. The pancakes are the size of a massive plate . The atmosphere is cozy with charming signs everywhere. The service was great and the price wasn’t terrible.

If you’re looking for a small town, cozy, greasy spoon place with good food and service, this is the spot! The highlight of my breakfast was the amazing pumpkin pancake which I ordered as a side at the suggestion of our adorable and friendly server. And warm syrup-yay! Never happens at your typical breakfast place. The menu and cups are on the table and the fun homespun lake decor all add to the relaxed atmosphere. Sounds like you should call ahead to see if it’s a pumpkin pancake day. So yummy!

Great vibe, absolute awesome service, and the food is spot on. Only serve breakfast and lunch, but that’s fine too. Usually get the tenderloin and eggs for breakfast and cheese burger for lunch. Never had bad service.

We stopped in for breakfast. Immediately, the coffee was being poured. We ordered and food was delivered pretty quickly. Ordered the 1 big pancake. WOW. It is big. See pic. Food was delicious. Will be making this our go to for breakfast.

Good, fast, reasonably priced, homestyle breakfast. I enjoyed the 2 eggs with sausage and hash browns, and added biscuits & gravy as an upgrade to the toast (see photo). It was way more than I could finish, and I didn’t like the biscuits, so I just put the gravy on my hash browns. Next time, I’ll probably stick to toast or even just skip it. The rest of it was very good. My husband enjoyed the Breakfast Skillet with Ham. He had coffee and I had OJ. I think our bill was only about $30 total, including tax and tip. Menu with pricing is posted as well. And the people were nice.

We were greeted as we walked in the door. They took our drink order right when we sat down. The place was busy but it didn’t feel like it. We were a party of 4 and all ordered breaksfast. They had our food to us is 10 minutes. The food was great and the service was great. One more nice thing about Val’s is they appear to be fully staffed. They had several waitresses running around working together and very efficiently. I highly recommend them for breakfast. (They serve breakfast all day).

Fun place. Excellent food. Great service. If you haven’t been there, go. Everyone will find a quote on the wall that they point to. Everything my group tried for breakfast is worth ordering again. Nice place to eat. Go slow in the parking lot since the rains mess up the gravel.
