Our waiter was so friendly, excited to serve us and made it a pleasant evening. Our food came out super quick, and the bread was delicious. All of the food was great and pretty good prices for the quality of food. Would happily go back. Restaurant was a little dark but overall atmosphere is nice and the wall of celebrity plates at the front is pretty cool.

It was my first time visiting this location. The menu was small but with a nice variation of choices. The wine list is quite extensive and they have a decent list of special drinks. I ordered a chicken dish that was good but not 30 dollars good. The service was very slow especially for the amount of staff. My friend said that his visits are hit and miss, sometimes really good but sometimes mediocre. They weren’t very busy the night we were there, the prices are not reasonable for such spotty quality, and I don’t like spending that kind of money if you don’t know what you are going to get. A four stars is over rated and should be three and a half.

Great food with a classy ambience. Gnocchi was chewy and creamy, seafood risotto and rabbit were great as well.

A really fantastic dining experience. Excellent service. We had a larger group, with extra needs and they took great care, while offering some really delicious dishes. Two people in our group claimed it was the best veal they’ve ever had, and the pork chop was on point. Definitely next level. Really great cocktails too. Wow, highly recommended.

We had a wedding rehearsal dinner at Vallozzis for 15 people which we had booked six months in advance. While the food was very good, when it came time to order dessert the waiter told us they were out of their signature taramisu. Needless to say we were all very disappointed and put a real damper on the meal. Very disappointed. You would think a restaurant of this caliber would offer a least a compliment second choice since the final bill was $1,500.

I’ve never done a review before. We went to Valozzis for our wedding anniversary. I cannot say enough. From our bartender to our servers. Everything was perfect. And the food!! Thank you for such a great experience. I didn’t get names but we were there on Aug 15. Our servers were two young men who were great and our bartender was awesome! We will be back!

Thanks, Matt, for a great experience. We ordered arancini, fettuccine spinach and black pasta amatriciana, and chicken Parmigiano. Everything was tasty. Great experience, a bit hard to hold a conversation was noisy.

Great atmosphere, great food, and a great value. Food was all around delicious and was great portions. Definitely one of the best nicer-end restaurant experiences that I’ve had in Pittsburgh. Perfect spot for a date night!

We were a fairly large party that was constantly ordering drinks and food. Our server handled it well, and the food was fantastic! Easily the best Italian meal I’ve had in a long time.

I visited Pittsburgh for work and I read that this was a good upscale Italian restaurant. I wasn’t necessarily expecting authentic Italian, but I wasn’t quite expecting what I got. I must admit it was likely one of the worst meals I’ve had. The server was great (David) but that was the highlight of the night.
