This was our first time visiting, and we had the pleasure of meeting Corey, the manager, who was incredibly welcoming and genuinely excited that it was our first visit. He checked on us several times and made us feel right at home. Our server, Justin, was excellent—friendly, attentive, and easygoing.
When I asked Corey about the meatballs, he brought some out for us to try—and they are now officially my new favorite. Absolutely delicious.
This is truly a place to hang out: a friendly vibe, warm energy, and staff that make you feel like family. It honestly feels like a modern-day Cheers. We’re moving around the corner and are so happy to have found our new go-to spot. Amazing food, incredible staff, and an atmosphere that keeps you coming back.
Highly recommend. ✨ sorry pictures are lacking due to we ate everything before I could snap any photos I will update in the future!
The servers were all super friendly and upbeat, and they were eager to help us with the menu and make sure everyone got something they liked. We chose to order multiple items off the menu and share them to make sure we had the wisest assortment to try.
The food all came out very quickly (so no worries for the starving folks in your group). Our favorite items were the grilled cheese and tomato soup and the doughnuts. All the food was great, though… and there wasn’t any left behind!
We had all three of them helping to serve our little table of four. They continually checked on us but.not in an intrusive way. The food was served hot and fast.
We have eaten here many times and continue to come back bc of it being a consistently good place!
Postino Buckhead gave me an unforgettable first-time dining experience—everything from the atmosphere to the service was exceptional!
From the moment I walked in, the energy was warm and inviting. A special shoutout to Eric, the host, who carried himself with such grace and professionalism. He made sure guests were seated promptly, kept the to-go orders flowing smoothly, ensured the tables were always set, and maintained a tidy, welcoming environment—even during the busy rush. His attention to detail did not go unnoticed.
The entire Postino team worked like a well-oiled machine. Whether it was water being refilled, tables being cleaned and reset, or simply enjoying the vibes with the guest —everything was handled flawlessly. It’s rare to see that level of teamwork, especially during peak hours.
I also want to give a heartfelt thank you to my waitress, Chris. She was incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable. Despite the crowd, she gave each table her full attention and made amazing menu recommendations—everything I tried was delicious! Chris truly went above and beyond, and because of her excellent service, I can’t wait to come back with my family and friends.
If you’re looking for great food, elegant service, and a team that truly cares, Postino Buckhead is the place to be. Highly recommend! Ask for Chris 🙂
We ordered several bread boards. The salmon and spinach & artichoke were good. The goat cheese and pepper jam had far more jam than expected, and the pistachio & date option was pretty bland. I could have overlooked that since we were trying new things.
We also ordered the mushroom fondue, which was just okay — nothing memorable.
For dinner, my husband ordered the grilled cheese and tomato soup. The sandwich was about half the size of my hand, and when it said it came with bacon, we did not expect one very thin slice cut in half.
When food arrived, they brought his soup and sandwich plus a second fondue we didn’t order. My P.R.E.A.M. bowl came out about 10 minutes later. It was cold and lacked flavor. No one checked on it, so I wasn’t sure if it was supposed to be served cold. I tried adding more romesco sauce, but it didn’t help. The sauce tasted more like red pepper puree rather than the bold, garlic-forward, vinegar and olive oil style I expected. I considered adding salt and pepper, but the ones on the table were grimy and gross to the touch.
I ended up not eating the bowl and figured I could fix it at home.
Service was polite overall but slow and . We waited for refills, waited for to-go boxes (which took three requests), and waited for the check. We were there just under two hours but would have preferred a shorter visit.
The hostess was very nice. Most staff looked professional, though one staff member’s pajama outfit that looked like it was meant to a preteen and footwear (fur boots dragging across the restaurant and kitchen floor) felt unsanitary in a food environment.
