This place used to be one of our favorites but we had a very disappointing dinner the other night. We spent $160 for 3 people and it was not worth it. There was a group dining there who was so beyond loud and obnoxious that you could not even hear the waitstaff or the person sitting next to you. Not blaming the restaurant but putting a group in a small little room and sitting other guests around them when there are tables elsewhere to put the other parties just isn’t a good idea. The pastas were very oily, the chicken with our one dish was so tough and overcooked. The carrots that came with the beef dish were the baby carrots out of a bag…..which I found ridiculous. Also the dressing on our Caesar salads had no flavor whatsoever. The service could’ve been better but they were very busy, so I don’t hold it against our server. We still tipped her generously. Though, it was near impossible to tell them about our disappointment with our food due to them not coming back to our table and by that point along with the headache of the noisey table we really just wanted to get out of there. Overall though this isn’t somewhere I would return to in the future, which is a shame because it used to be very good.

We recently hosted a Bridal Shower at Vallini and it was perfect from start to finish! Victoria, who was in charge of our event, was nothing short of amazing throughout the entire process. The food was delicious and everyone is still talking about how great the shower was. Highly recommend!

Had great meals in the past. It was seafood night and had the mussels. They were ok, sauce was like Campbell’s tomato soup-very disappointed. Good BYOB in Skippack, good food & service. Victoria is great. I would avoid the mussels when you go.

Some of the food was good including the shortrib. The pasta was average and looked like it was cooked earlier in the day. The meatballs were not good as they were very hard and did not have good flavor. This was my 5th time at Vallini. I really wish the food was better because the atmosphere is really nice.

Ordered Doordash from this place and had an awful experience. It took over 2 hours for the delivery to arrive. When it did it was ice cold, was wrong, and missing half the order. We called multiple times to complain, but the staff took no accountability, didn’t apologize or offer to right the situation. We spoke to the manager and he was even less helpful. Awful food, awful service, just skip this place. We spent over $100 on this order and it ruined what was supposed to be a nice evening with friends.

It was a nice place to meet and talk to a friend over some wine we brought. The service was good. I got a salad and it was flavorful but should have asked for dressing on the side as it was soupy. I got the chicken parm. Ala vodka And the chicken was good but the rigatoni pasta ala vodka was dry and didn’t have a lot of flavor. I will try it again but not that dish.

1st time here. I ordered the lobster ravioli based on a review I read here. They said it was the best they ever had, and it was stuffed full of lobster. I would love to know who stuffed the batch they ate because my lobster filling was minced so small I had to look in it to make sure it had lobster. It just tasted like cheese ravioli to me. My husband got a filet, which he loved, and the roasted potatoes that came with it were excellent. He normally doesn’t eat sides, so that is saying something. My friend got the rigatoni porcini. The pasta could have been cooked a tad bit more. It was hard to chew, so she didn’t eat that much of it. Her boyfriend had the rigatoni short rib, and he liked his meal. I ended the meal with the tiramisu, which was OK, and my husband got the hazelnut figato, which he loved. My review is a mix of some of us liking our meals and others who thought it was OK. Which is in line with the other reviews on this place. It seems this place is hit or miss depending on who is cooking. It was nice to try it. We might come back to try the pizza and stromboli.

We took my son here for a treat before starting the school year. Wow. The food was amazing. The atmosphere was beautiful & we had top notch service. We were full from our meals (there was nothing left); yet still managed deserts. The Cannolis & Tiramisu were both delicious. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in the area! What a gem.

We were in the mood for Italian, so we decided to give Vallini in Skippack a try. BYOB is always a plus for me.
We brought a nice bottle of merlot, and the hostess escorted us to a booth that was extremely uncomfortable. It was a small narrow bench seat accompanied with a straight 90-degree back. It was awkward and uncomfortable, so we asked to be reseated, which was not a problem. Our new seats were much better. We sat at a half table/booth, and even the booth part was better.
Anyway, the waitress brought out the house bread and dipping oil, unfortunately the bread was so hard and stale it was basically unedible.
We started with an order of calamari which was excellent and a good-sized portion. And for dinner we both ordered lobster ravioli and it was the best lobster rav I ever had in my life.
The ravioli’s were stuffed full, and the blush sauce was excellent. The fried prosciutto was a nice touch on the dish. The lobster rav saved the review… it was phenomenal.
4 stars.

I ordered the special: homemade pumpkin ravioli in a white crab sauce with pine nuts. It was fantastic, the sweet pumpkin a great contrast with the savory sauce; although, the otherwise delicious bechamel could have included a bit more crab.
My companion ordered the halibut – one of the most expensive selections on the menu. Unfortunately, it was way, way overcooked, dry and leathery, and lacked the typical moist, flaky, tender character of properly prepared halibut. This could have been because of the busy evening at the restaurant; however, an establishment should be consistently excellent, regardless of traffic, especially as otherwise fine an eatery as Vallini.
The tiramisu, espresso, and service were exceptional.
